Hey guys, has going stealth given you more profit? As in selling?
 

I am having a rough time since this weekend with personal things.

I was wondering if most of you going stealth gave you more chances of selling items then before?

1 account = 3 to 5 sells per day.
2 accounts = more then before.

I know most of us are scared of eb/pp to close u out again and it's a way of spreading our eggs out, so if we get hit not all dozen are gone. But does it help out in sales or do you have competition vs. your other accounts? That's what I mean by example. Cause for my category I run out of phrases to use for the title with 200 auctions going, so mix matching the titles is going to take work.

I can also have different brands and prices, but was just wondering.

I am having a really really rough time here. Just personal things.

Going stealth has increased my profits at least 3x more than I was earning from a single account.

But its not just about increasing profits, before I discovered stealth 90% of my business income came from a single eBay account which was closed without warning and nearly caused me to close my company.

I now have security by spreading the risk

So nice 3 times more.

Nice so now spreading it all out works very well then, not just security but with more profits/sells then.

I be fine in a few days, just need to get up on my feet. This is the only motivation I have for now. Hard to believe eh? Money does buy you happiness. At least it depends who you are.

Stealth is the only way to go! I no longer even fear suspensions/account closures, if I get them I get them, on to the next account!

hard to say mate, i guess the answer is yes as I have higher limits as its split between accounts, but I still sell the same products so its hard to say bud.

All i know is with a single account i was always worrying of limitation!

Only you can make more profits, the trick is not to spend your profits before you can afford to... Think about it ;) Works in any business.

You know it's funny that you mention that because when I was living paycheck to paycheck and behind on bills, I always wished for more money and thought it would make things a whole lot easier and that I would be happy.

Now that I have money, I don't want to spend a dime. I cringe when I fill up the gas tank, I flip out at the store because prices have inflated....I guess it has just made me wiser to certain things. I don't have to worry about most costs, but having money has certainly not brought happiness.

I was discussing this with my banker not too long ago - we got off on the subject of multi-millionaires or billionaires throwing their cash around thinking they doesn't stink and showing off. And then the people who are TRULY smart about their money, whether millionaire or what have you, that still shop at walmart and are actually practical and level-headed. The latter most describes me (even though I am not a millionaire....yet)

Everyone calls me scrouge cause I save up my money and not spend. I blew $12k last 6 months for vacations with the gf/wifey. There is a time to save and live also. I am not like all these people who go out and buy what rappers sell on TV and wear it and think. I AM COOL!!! I don't wear top name brands to show off that I got money. I walk around like a bum! I don't care what people think of me. Chances are, someone has a Benz, big house, everything but yet you wonder, and want to scream out from far away saying "YO BUDDY!!! WHAT KIND OF MACARONI'S YOU EATING TO HAVE ALL OF THAT? CAUSE I CAN SEE YOUR RIPS STICKING OUT FROM OVER HERE!!!" Seriously that's how I see it! I know an old couple very old in their 70's from Detroit. They owned a few houses on the street, are worth $800k from savings in life. Most people as soon as they land a new job they think it's the top of the world. $2k a month payment, $500 per car, got to have 2 right? Got to show off so my peeps can chit chat all about me! Got to pay insurance, highest gas prices, not to mention got to have top of the line flip phone cause you know, without it you can't get LAID these days!!! And not just any phone, it got to be the one signed by STEVE JOBS with the chew gum still on it! I mean, some people don't know but when you go on vacation, with a 9 to 5 job you don't get paid for time off and you spend double! HELLO!!!! I get 5 weeks paid vacation a year here in Lux, I use to have 3 months with my other job, a friend in Qatar I know had 4 to 5 months!

I'll tell you soemthing, you are not cringing, you know the value of money and how hard it was to work for it. Now you have something solid, but you don't know for how long so you make that $1 last you forever! I use to sell information on ebay 11 yrs ago or 10 yrs ago. I would use that money to get into something bigger. I started selling money making Cd's. Cost me .01 cents per Cd after discounts and rebats. who cares if people laugh at you or not. You got money, you spend it on needs. When I see someone on CNN from America "Uhhh I can't go up norht this year on vacation cause gas prices went up 5 cents a gallon, I might have to sell my SUV 4 by 4 that I always wanted!" Buddy it's simple, less burgers, much better on gas milage! 99% of people don't know how to save money, they buy junk at the store. AS SEEN ON TV products you don't really need! You can live without it!!! YES ITS DOABLE PEOPLE!!! I know it's hard so breathe!

Look I grew up in the USA illegally as a child due to my parent not taking care of my paper work. If I had $40k at the time to pay someone to get married I would of been happy about it. Right now I got money but heart broken big time but I'll get over it! Do you own the house you always wanted? on the water? Boat for fishing? Time with the kids? This is happiness!!! Not $900k in the bank and living in a tiny shack with 4 kids not knowing what to do with it. Just live a little! Whatever you buy, get deals on it! I am sure for 125k you can buy a good house in the US these days. I know I said save your money but depends on how much you got. Be happy you are working for you and not someone else!

If I was a Billionaire, oh boy oh boy. I'd buy a Priavet jet there goes $80 million. Big nice house on the beach! White sands, blue waters! Nice boat, every hot barbie within 150 miles of me would be invited! You'd hear pastic toys all night playing! ;) Also someone who has a few billions it's not like they can make more money with competition. I know if I got to that point. I would just settle down for what I got and call it a life before I die or get sick of old age. Barbies + Exotic Hot RARE cars! = match made in heaven!

I've learned to live without money, just paying rent, tiny phone bill, little on food. I save a lot. Waiting for my time in the world to strike. But I'll start with stealths and build up to websites later on then mags for ads and online all over. you got to build a foundation slowly and surely.

Having Money far above what you need to pay bills makes your life 95% easier.

If you don't believe it then you've never been rich.

When you have money you realize how creative you really are.

You now have time to "think" about creating wealth vs paying the light bill.

Money attracts more money.

Yup I also noticed, when you have it, any ideas you think about. You can cash in on it, and you get to see life differently. I never cashed in on it yet but I've seen ideas I had come to life by others in this world.

Pricing I can do all the pricings I like. I got my own brands so this is not a problem.

Spread sales out, keep accounts to a min amount of sales and money going through and profits rise.

I was making thousands of pounds a week through a website with 60,000+ members! Until paypal closed my account and ruined that venture!

Makes me want to get a paypal mirror meaning on the site I would have 10 paypal accounts and each time someone uses one account it rotates to the other 9 and switches it up.

I had a friend once who had $5k he though he was on top of the world! He was like "GWW don't be jealous man cause I got $5k dawg!" I was like :eek:: "Dude that money is not forever it's not $500 million it's going to run out in a week or 2" lol

Actually at the time that paypal limited the account i was working on another venture and to this date im still doing that, so I let the other one fizzle out. It was a full time website, the demand from customers was insane, but that money hitting my bank every week was the best feeling ever.

I have had my ups and downs, infact I had a 1 year break from working recently, silly i know but I had alot of stress. Only recently have I started getting back into it all and this time im doing it big! (well trying atleast!!)

I have spent more then that this week on re stocking the shelfs so I have sales next month lol.

But such as life, you find a good product and its not long before another seller is on to it.

Yup very true if you are the source of that product, or the maker/factory then you'll always be in business until you are out source within due time. So best to stay up on top of the game. I know of a company that buys all machines made just so no one else can make the same product so they get rid of the competition. Back in the 1920's or 1910's or 1900's a company that did work with oil would buy out all the barrels so no one else could compete with them in that business! So they had no way of transporting oil around.
