Default Withdrawing from Paypal limits

I tried to make a big withdrawal through Paypal and got my account limited. I have now added & confirmed a bank account & lifted the limits.

From your experience, should I be okay to withdraw say £500 after getting sent £500 now?

NO!

Please read the forums, I never withdraw more then 80% of my funds, but If I had £500 I would do £200, £150, £100, £50 for instance.

I never withdraw the amount i get straight away its to suspicious for paypal and will raise a flag especially on a new account.

Once your account is established, it should be fine. I have always withdrawn right when funds hit my account. It is expected of me to do so....any deviation from the norm would probably throw flags.

I have been limited for withdrawing 4-5 hours later boost, on new accounts. Limited as soon as I hit that withdrawal button. It hasn't happened since I started waiting at least 12 hours.

OP: I would start with a small amount for my first withdrawal, like say £40-50 or so. Whatever you do, don't start with big amounts for first withdrawal.

Then once that goes through, build it up to higher amounts, maybe £100 next then £200 and so on.

One thing to consider - if you have a new ebay + paypal and have the 21 day hold set from ebay....once the funds become available, you can withdraw the entire amount immediately in full. I've done it over and over with no issue. Buyer gets their item, 3 days after delivery the funds get released...withdraw, no issue. At least that's how it's worked for me.

The money would have been sitting for a few days in the account so timing isn't a problem in that situation. But if you were lucky enough to get a payment without hold and you try to withdraw immediately, you are playing with fire.

Of course...I was under the impression that we were talking about an ebay payment. In the case of an individual just sending $500 to your account...if it is not established, you are going to experience issues.

I was talking in regards to eBay as well. Sometimes you get payments coming through without holds though, that is what I meant. It can happen once in a while even on accounts with 21 day holds.

Oh, and as long as that 500 sent by the individual did not get stopped for review by PayPal, you would be fine withdrawing small amounts of it as well. Just treat it the same as an eBay payment without 21 day hold.

Thanks guys. I think I'll try to withdraw £49 first, just to stay under the radar and see how it goes. I just assummed because I am vertified AND confirmed it wouldn't have been a problem. Although the account is still new, its about 7 days old.

I think i'll wait 12/24 hours then try another £49, then another etc.

Danger danger danger!!!!!

Assume and paypal are a flawed combination.

Users can have a fully verified and confirmed account but still get limited.

At this point, gigabty', all you have is a new paypal account. It is still earning paypal's trust.

Going slowly will be your best procedure.
Good Luck
