Do Paypal call Suppliers?
 

Hi there

Just wondering if I have to fax in supplier details to Payapl will they call my suppliers?

This is only an issue but Im afraid that as they request info on headed paper my supplier might be unwilling to put my "New" name on page ie I have had to alter my name to try and get back on ebay


PS This forum is truly a lifesaver

If paypal will call I will have to ask my supplier to not put down my name but ebay user id on sheet to fax to Paypal

I believe they do.. but I'm not 100% sure on this.

I personally have never had them contact a supplier of mine.

If it was the police, they would ask for your supplier info, and only if they have probable cause would they get a warrant to find it, and then would investigate and only act if there was proof your suppliers aren't legit. But the police (unless corrupt) are innocent until proven guilty.

PayPal freezes your account and presumes you guilty. So the information you sent needs to convince paypal of your innocence. If PayPal doesn't verify the information, then the supplier info itself should convince them you are legit.

they never call my supplier ! as my supplier phone No. just my different phone No.
