So I have just a simple question..
I read the book and it is my assumtion that as long as I hide my IP and then create another user within my computer. (eliminating tracking cookies etc.) that i should be good to go..
Is this correct? or am I missing something?

What do you mean hide your IP? ebay will know if you are using a proxy it is best to use a different IP for the account and log every IP you use into excel. Also by using different IP that is internal IP, if you 'hide' your IP you are merely putting on an external IP which bay will know about!

I'm assumung ou have an address, phone number, new bank etc..

Do not hide your IP or tracking info. Eb/pp frowns upon that and will ban you faster than you can list an item.

Do NOT use proxies. They have been used and abused by others and are most likely blacklisted.

Create a new user account and let the cookies/ip/data stay on that user account WITHOUT cleaning anything up.

Eb/pp loves to see a trail/history from their accounts.

Ensure that your email images are DISABLED so they do not put a beacon on your computer and link you.

Dont use proxies - stealth is NOT about "hiding" - make sure your info is all new and fresh and UNLINKED to old info

Do not use Hide my IP

Use several other methods to get a real IP.

New Windows user account
IP Address, & ALL information has to be different 'Stealth'
Nothing must link you to your old suspended details.

That's a good start if you mean "change" and not "hide" your ip?

Before uploading pictures to each ebay account, strip your pictures clean of info and upload them to ebay from an online photo hosting site like photobucket and not from your own computer.

I was just so excited to see the Stealth book and this forum, overlooked some things.

@yellowrotorway, you can use dongle...phone tethering...dial-up...etc - lot of options in the US for you

vps.net is my choice

hiping ip is a no no!! buy a dongle instead :doh:
creating another user is basic stuff and u shouldn't be allowed out on your own at night :doh:

read the book again :doh:
have an early night :doh:

The overall, holistic theme is that you are a new person to ebay.

To be a new person, everything looks completely normal as anyone else but is simply new, unconnected to anything or anyone in the past. That is how a new user will look to ebay - that's how you want to appear to ebay.

Hence they see your IP, they see all your cookies etc but you isolate them from everything else in the past - hence you record your IPs and make sure they're not the same as before or as other accounts, have a new PC user account = new cookies etc.

new name, new address, new tel no, new bank account numbers (they can't see your bank name with the right bank), new credit card. New ebay broswing or searching habits (start browsing shoes for the hell of it!) , new listing style, new photo metadata (or none at all).

Write an imaginary diary and family history if you really want to get into it more.. (joke).
