Personal hotspot iphone 5
has anyone tried the iPhone 5 hotspot function or it it pants
and best left alone? |
If your going to use your Iphone, it's best to use it as a wired tether and not as a hotspot. |

ive used the hotspot option (using pdanet) i think it works great, and a very fast way to change ip |

i use my iphone hotspot to transfer from banned stealths, the phone is dirty anyway so i dont use it for any good accounts |

I meant... I have used it on banned stealths with no track of IP's so in my eyes its "dirty" and I would never use it on my good accounts ;)
But for what I use it for, it works well :) |

tethering iphone 5 been doing it for a while now. It is great for one account, however the IP's are very limited for me. Maybe a rotation of 10 every 3 months. |

Works great for me too. All you gotta do is go to Settings and put it in Airplane mode for a few seconds. Then turn it back on and BAM...got yourself a fresh new IP.
Use it wired tether only because if you use it with wireless tethering, you could risk your computer accidentally connecting to another wifi connection using an IP that you don't want to use. Better to avoid the risk and go hard wired IMHO. |
