Question regarding creating a US PayPal from UK
 

Hey guys so I have been thinking lately to perhaps have a USA based account too. As right now I have 4 UK Fully verified pay pals that I use for different things and different reasons.
I was thinking about creating a USA one with a bank etc added it to. But i had a few questions that although on search i'd seen some answers to I had not seen full answers for UK users to.
My idea is to create a USA account but from the UK. My 1st concern is documentation, obviously theres methods I'm aware around this, but I understand us pay pals take a ssn if am right? I just wondered how you would get around this. My second concern was how I would log on..
I've noticed my blackberry z10 sometimes seems to generate US IP's..how valid these would be to paypal to seem as if i am in the UK I don't know..but as i have a mac now and now can tether on it on multiple users..I thought it would be handy to know.

OH BTW I changed a digit using photoshop to the IP..so it's not the actual IP that came up :) for security reasons but doubt you can notice lol

@mh88, is it a special provider your have or feature on the phone that generates the US IP even though you are in the UK? Just wondering.

Anyway, to answer OP's question, if they are really showing up as USA IPs then you should be fine.

You then edited your post. Don't try to make me look like a fool.

Moving on, moneyhustler, try iplocation.net and tell us what it says there. There's a good chance that it's just giving you the wrong location for the IP.

If he knew that then he obviously wouldn't have posted the thread. Honestly rsot, simply don't reply to a thread if you can't actually help.

If your being assigned US IP's...Yes you could open up USA Based Ebay/PP. The bigger question will be...can you be sure to always be assigned a US IP all the time.

Well I can keep changing IP's I suppose till I get a USA one but I suppose as per what elijah's said i need to check on a few iP site it is act locating me in the USA..

Your issue is the constant availability of a USA based IP.

Associate uses the same carrier.

He has not noted any constant occurrence of the American IP happening. In his mind, that made it risky to chance a paypal account in case of getting a 'bad' IP. Our immediate thought was this might have been possible.
