Paypal Restored My Account
 

My Paypal account was limited February 3rd, 2013 and they wanted SSN, CC statements, ID, all that jazz, I waited until yesterday to call them and ask about getting my funds early, the lady on the phone was real nice, and since the balance was over 1,000 she had to put in a request for me, and I went to check on it this morning, and they restored my account access for no reason. I am in complete shock but really happy. Has this happened to anyone else?

I would transfer the $1000 out asap... there's a big chance they'll limit the account again fast.

Not heard of this for amounts over $1000.

Some users have been lucky like you with lower accounts.

Get the transfer going YESTERSDAY.

Congratulations...for now. PP can make mistakes - agents do reinstate accounts by accident and then the system detects odd activity and re-limits you. Act quickly and smartly. Get other backup accounts going

One of those rare cases when we all suggest to get that money out fast.

Most of the time we tell people to go slow with getting money out but this situation could change quickly.

Do whatever you have to do and start creating a portfolio of other accounts to rely on.

I've had it happen a few times, just by writing a letter and telling them to "f off, I'm not supplying any documents"

I've had it work 3 times in roughly 30 attempts. 1 in 10, probably depends on whether you get a disgruntled employee who hates paypal as much as we do and thinks it's funny that I wrote such a pissed off letter.:clap:

Kind of proves they don't read much of the stuff coming in...or employees are ilitterate...

I still would be careful with this account.

I always baby an account that has a pp eye placed on it - major sales are quickly transitioned to OTHER accounts to minimize issues.
