AUSPOST Load&Go & PAYPAL DEPOSIT
 

Can anyone shed light on why I am unable to ADD (i.e. make a deposit) into my PayPal account via Load&Go card which has fully verified CCARD# as well as ACC & BSB number with PayPal? Notes in my PayPal account are: "Transfer from Bank Account Failed".

Everything on the Load&Go card has been verified and confirmed with PayPal(i.e. PayPal verified bank account number and ccard number with a 4 digit PIN and I have verified this with PayPal all is ok here).

I will call Load&Go and see why in the meantime ...

Yes, I do have money in my Load&Go card that I want to deposit into PayPal (i.e surplus funds).

The problem is when Load&Go and PayPal all is ALREADY established verified and ready to go - I CANNOT make MY OWN deposits from my Load&Go card into my PayPal account?

I am on the phone to Load&Go and on hold for 15 minutes (hopeless call centres...) If I find out the reason why I will let everyone know...

Ok, finally got through to them. They said that because Load&Go is PRE-PAID credit card all banks (and PayPal too) have placed "RESTRICTIONS" on them. So from what Load&Go have told me (I will call again and speak to a different person to see if they give me the same answers!) even if I went to a legitimate bank and tried to withdraw money from my Load&Go card into my bank account the bank will strict this and funds won't go through.

Is the above information that Load&Go have given me correct or is there a way around this restriction? Any ideas anyone?

There seems to be a lot of issues with Load and Go cards. I personally wouldn't have any more than one of this cards. It's best to stick to actual bank accounts and CC to be safe.

I think you may need to call them to get the restriction removed? You should be able to withdraw money out of an ATM though.

Also, I think these cards are intended as a pre paid Visa Card/Debit Card. You can put money on them but when you withdraw it has to be using the CR function or you can withdraw directly from an ATM.

Lil. I think you are using the Load & Go as if its a real bank acct. Its just a vba[australian] and prepaid c/c. Just dont push it by trying to 'add funds' to your paypal acct. You may have to add a real bank acct or do a dreaded transfer if you are dealing with a negative balance paypal issue.

Load & Go is a vba - cant be used to withdraw too?

You can use it at an ATM to withdraw money out. This is subject to ATM fees though

Can foreign $ be added to this prepaid CC?
