Morphie juice pack

I sold some Morpie juice packs for an iPhone 5

One person says he wants a refund as the item is a F A K E

I know these are not F A K E S and came from the apple shop where my mate works .

so what should I do and the postage special delivery cost me £6.75

unkown5454 04-11-2013 03:09 PM

If they came from a real store, get a receipt. Otherwise, yes, you are screwed.

rsot 04-11-2013 03:32 PM

You have receipt and proof from shop - that can help but these digital/electronic stuff is always risky. Prepare to battle it out if a claim has been opened otherwise maybe settle off of PP.

Your mate working at the shop had better have supplied you with a proper receipt.

A named item like this needs a receipt to fight any claims. That may be an issue . Sort the receipt or consider a total refund.

Come on now ... It's pretty easy to find out if your battery pack is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ or not. I'd call mophie and ask them to check the serial number. If it does not match it is ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Most likely it is.

MM78 04-11-2013 06:21 PM

As Sandy would say...Professional Buyer, do they even make f a k e ones?

stanislav 04-11-2013 06:27 PM

Is this a joke ????

Ughhhhh, yea, they're pretty much everywhere you look...since they day the d@mn case existed.

LOL I swear I almost thought he was joking when he asked if they even make ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ones (head spinning, birds flying).

You better tell me what's brand isn't ⊗⊗⊗⊗ on ebay? If it wasn't for ⊗⊗⊗⊗ eBay wouldn't be eBay. I know some of you will disagree with me. LOL @ people who think amazon doesn't sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ;)

Seriously some people are either stupid or naive. How can a brand new product cost 60% bellow MSRP ?

Either it is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ , refurbished or it was discontinued.

GreenBean 04-11-2013 07:53 PM

re-read the OP.

staffer from apple

enterprising ebay seller

branded item on ebay issues

See any glitches there

Regardless of the authenticity of the product, it might be worth the return and eating the 6.75 to protect your stealth account. If the buyer is messing around with you, you can report him to get some limited satisfaction and it would be way better than the nightmare he could create with claim.

Well I'm not looking, buying or use them...so the question is neither dumb, naive, nor stupid.

GreenBean 04-11-2013 09:07 PM

Part of the issue is going to be if the mate had the right to sell the product.

Not sure they are allowed to do that.

Hence the possible problem of a 'real receipt'.

:juggle:

stanislav 04-11-2013 09:53 PM

What if his "mate" sold him a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ battery pack lol or what if Op isn't being honest and telling us a lie? Anyone can make up a story about how they got a legitimate item from a friend and then when tried to sell it on ebay they got yanked with vero.

2,200 posts, so you been here a bit. Now, OP mentions iPhone 5 and name brand cases. Come to an educated conclusion...

Beyond that, OP hasn't responded and overall he has a highly coun.ter.fei.ted product with no proof of authenticity, receipt, etc. All he has is a "friend" who apparently works for App.le pushing cheap cases out the back of the store. Please, someone do tell me legitimate corporate App.le stores who allow anything like this EVER... :juggle: :yar: :suspicious:

stanislav 04-12-2013 02:17 AM

Hahaha Good one! ;) unkown5454

Thirsty - some juice is in order - grape or orange hmm (yes off-topic)

stevebills 04-16-2013 04:11 AM

The guy now says sorry its not a F A K E now and he wanted a slide case version
they must make 2 types I don't know
so he is returning it to me and as he cant read my listings as I never mentioned slider versions.

Surely not my fault so now he owes me £6.75 postage now
don't you all agree :amen:

stevebills 04-16-2013 04:12 AM

The iphone 4 and 4 s version look to be copies on ebay but no sign of iphone 5 ones being copies at the moment
Just to make it clear the chap worked at apple and was prob back dooring them as they are real cases not phake so I would not of had a receipt

This is definitely not allowed in a apple shop or any shop and the said person would be sacked on the spot

How can anyone afford to lose £6.75 on the postage as It would kill profit margins on most sales after you pay ebay and paypal
