Can I open two ebay business accounts from day 1?
 

I'm planning my comeback to eBay, and I just wanted to get people's thoughts.

When I was trading on eBay and reached my limit, I could email ebay and let them know that I have another account in good standing and ebay would match that accounts selling limit.

Now I understand this would obviously link the two accounts which isn't really a problem as I intend to trade on eBay properly and all the information ebay would ask for will be legit. But is this a bad idea?

The reason I ask is, I intend to raise my limits organically, but I can't see how I can raise my limits organically and still have a healthy limit in time for the Xmas rush.

Starting several unlinked accounts now, should see them have decent selling limits for the beginning of November.

Do NOT link ebay accounts in the way you are planning. If you get issues on one of the accounts, it has the potential to cause problems for the others.

You can open more than 2 if your stealth technique is good :)

ebay have been less than receptive to such requests. Couple of users had the 2nd account suspended for the very reason you said.

Not worth the risk.

Make unrelated accounts now and they should grow OK for year's end.

Start with one - understand how the process works then make other stealth eb/pp combos - keep operations separate to start

I guess it's been some time since you were last trading on eBay Zak! You certainly would not want to email them and let them know that you are running more than one account now!, as has been said, link two or more accounts these days and you will more than likely be permanently suspended!, people have lost huge accounts for less!

You can certainly get good enough limits in time for next Christmas, if you start now and build on them though the year, nurturing them as you go, and clearly understanding what makes accounts go down and how to avoid those things.
