I would like to just link a VCC to my UK paypal account. I don't intend to withdraw from this paypal account.

Can I list items on ebay with a paypal that only has a VCC linked or do I need to add a bank account as well?

I have tried to look but couldn't find anything.

Actually, i think i'm being a little silly here. Can i just add a VCC to ebay to list items?

if you want to sell the items I would, if your just using ebay to advertise why worry

You need to take paypal to sell on uk ebay. It is possible to sell with unverified paypal but you have sending and withdrawing limits to contend with.

You can use a vcc to pay fees but I dont think that will be the issue.

I think you must put a paypal email address into the listing when you create it.

How are your buyers going to pay you? Uk buyers are blinded by anything else but paypal.

Surely it would just got straight to the email address you've signed up to ebay too. It's more of an add then a listing but made too look like one.

Just encase people do buy it then I can refund them as its not a registered paypal?

you can accept postal orders & checks too but you need to give buyers the option to pay with pay pal

and unfortunately almost everyone wants to pay with pay pal

I don't want to open a paypal account. I only want to list an item/advert. So i don't need to accept the money and if someone does buy then i can just not open the paypal account and the person can get the money back seen as it will be unclaimed?

How can the money just go to an email address? You have to register your email with PayPal in order to accept funds.

You do not need a paypal to list on Ebay! After you sell an item it ask you if you would like to sign up to paypal to accept the funds! I'm asking if i can set up a ebay account with just a VCC to pay for the fees!?

It really depends on the country, some countries you have to accept PayPal, others you don't! Best Regards mate.

I dont think you understand the platform...buyers will pay with paypal automatically - you WILL need a paypal to accept the funds. Why dont you just make one and verify it with a bank account? Verified paypal is a good thing to have to get your cash.

@gdsco, that seems to be what he is indicating about selling on eB with just VCC but NO paypal created but then he mentions that he has a paypal UK account - bit of confusion.

While it is possible to sell with an unverified pp (other people have done this), it is not recommended for people just new to stealth (or in general)

Selling with an unverified pp is extremely risky.

Why not find a way to get it done?
