ebay seller account limits question
 

I fully verified my paypal today and linked the matching ebay account to it. Next, I created the seller account but when I go to the "selling" tab it shows that I can list zero items/zero $ in red and says I reached my selling limits and to check back next month or request higher limits.

What does this mean? That eBay is suspicious of the account or something else? Normally once I create the seller account it will have 10/1000 limits, but this time I am not sure why this happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting.. Usually if Paypal is fully verified u should be ok... Did u make sure nothing linked u to past account... Ip, cookies, flash cookies etc...?????

Yes I used a new windows user account and a brand new IP never used with paypal or ebay before. So that's why I was not understanding why my issue happened.

maybe you used info similar to an account that was already banned (not saying an account you previously made) its happened to me before, just ditch the account and make another

people have said that this sometimes happens and can be fixed by vba but I havn't personally tried that

Most likely the account has been linked to another account and they have limited your numbers.

**UPDATE**

I called up eBay for that account and told them I could not list any items. First they suggested I add my credit card for the sellers fees, and so I added the same VCC used to set up my paypal. I finally got through after a half-hour to someone from trust&safety that was able to help me and they manually raised limits from 0/0 to 10/500. They also said if i faxed in my ID and utility bill that it could be raised to 50/3000. Of course I do not have an ID nor utility bill for this stealth acct information I used. But at least I got the limits raised up a little and I can start building up that account slowly.:clap:

Nice follow-up - glad it work out. Go ahead and start building. Still weird that they had to manually raise your limits.
