Anyone having a problem adding a bank account to Paypal UK
 
Hi Guys,

I'm trying to add a new bank account to my paypal account. I'm getting this message "We are unable to process your bank registration at this time. Please try again at a later date. I have changed the phone number on this account today. The paypal account is over 5 years old and never had any problems with it.

Anyone else having this problem?

I'm going to give it a few days and then try again.

I take it, it's not a good idea to phone paypal?

Make that your last choice to call.

What bank & type of account are you trying to use.

Getting reports of issues.

I have had the same issues with the UK paypal!

My account is an online everyday saver with halifax.

First time I have used this type of account but, i have used the online saver many times before with no problems but haven't tried again since this has happened.

It's a Natwest Basic Account.

I created 3 new stealth accounts last week and I had this problem with one of them as well.

I think I'll sit tight for now.

Thanks for the heads up, I added an everyday saver recently. Haven't had any payments recently, currently ok.

What is very interesting is that I actually tried to add an "esaver" I already have a few, but when I try to open it says "there's been a problem" but doesn't specify what. That's why I opened the everyday saver instead.

Get the feeling I'm under the microscope. :what:

Call only if you are confident you can take whatever they dish out... including a possible request for ID.

That said, adding bank accounts in general has been nearly impossible these last day for the UK
User tried for 3 weeks. then ended up calling and having the account added manually.

When I used to do withdrawals before they were instant. Now I get the following message - Your withdrawal request is awaiting release for final processing, pending review by PayPal. Is this Usual when adding a new bank account?

probs just something new, an explanation of the pending/completed bit, i would not worry too much about it

Yes this is normal.

It takes 3 days for the money to go through, just like normal.

Shouldn't be anything to worry about.
