issues with paypal

Hi, i had a bad batch of goods, and got a few chargebacks, making my paypal balance minus 600. The account is currently suspended for 30days because of a mc019 takedown. It gets reinstated in around 10days.

The account has 150feedback and 100% positive. It is a couple of years old, and apart from those problems it is in good standing.

Would you guys pay off the 600 to keep it, or because it has had this takedown, it has made the account worthless?

How much would you value something like this :S

Thanks!

If it's only suspended for 30 days, that means you can sell again after 30 days.

It's completely up to you if you want to keep it or not. If you decide to keep it, make sure you don't get any violations on this account for at least 1 year, otherwise it will be permanently suspended.

ok thanks imjustme, would u keep it, or wrigh it off? i need accounts at the moment if im honest, but 600! :O woah

If you can afford it, I would keep it. 150 feedback is worth more than a 0 feedback account. If you sell only VERO items, though ..then you will eventually lose it anyways. But if you sell legit items then I would keep it.

Again, it's up to you.

I would probably keep it unless it has a very low selling limit.

I'd definitely keep it if you have the $600 to dish out. 150 feedback is a decent amount of feedback. Most accounts sold here with decent limits and 0-15 feedback go for around $250. If it's worth it to you then go ahead and keep it but that's a decision only you can make.

Judging from the fact that you've earned 150 feedback, sounds like you got your money's worth. You could also just ditch it and keep the $600 to buy you a few high limit accounts and start over.

I know starting over sounds bad but from my experience, it doesn't matter if the account has 5 feedback or 500 feedback, if you got a good item, it will sell just the same.

Did they send the item back to you? WHy the chargeback? I assume they returned the item? If so, pay pp and relist? You are not out anything....Pointless to let an account go?

The other issue is that chargebacks could look VERY bad to paypal - even if not your fault...weigh that into your decision.

The account has no limits, think I will keep it. Chargebacks were due to a faulty batch. There were only say 5 chargebacks Rsot as items were a little over 100 euro each. What do u reckon regarding paypals opinion? Thanks everyone!

Save it and play it safe the upcoming 7-12 months, it's a good account if you have 150 nice feedbacks.

No communicatuon? Not even a eBay dispute?

No previous messages. But cases opened through ebay and paypal...

Thanks everyone
