So I hit the first tax id request from paypal.
 

I am sorry If this question has been answered in the forum, But after reading and searching the forum for about 2 hours, I cannot find a clear answer.

So I have 7 stealth accounts running, all using random names and addresses from yellow page, and one of my paypal account got tax id request.

I do have an ein number from my local business that was closed few years ago and from my understanding, one person can obtain only one ein unless you get a LLC.

I might have to get LLC later to keep all 7 accounts alive, but i want to add my current EIN to this limited paypal account as I just got a top rated seller on the ebay account that is linked to it.

The question is I used ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address, and my current EIN is under my old business name and address which I don't have access to. Will paypal know that the information are different if I add my current EIN? If they will, Should I get a UPS mailbox address and change the address on my EIN? I am not really sure what to do with the name though. Any suggestion?

If not to much action on the account, let the eb account rest and let the paypal acct go.

I would save that EIN for another account if it were me.

Or get another one to use.

is it safe to open a new stealth paypal and link it to the ebay account?

If it is a new stealth account I would let it go. If it is old stealth account or has higher limits then maybe rescue it with the EIN. You do need LLC or corp to get an EIN.
