Hello I've been doing some research and it seems the more watchers you have on your item the higher your product will rank.

Not sure how true this is, but very interesting. If anyone wants to let us know id this does work?

If this is true, then it is not always true

One my of my products I sell, sold more in the first day of posting then it did a month later with 3k+ views.

Not views, watchers.

You wont get watchers without views.

Interesting.... any proof to this?

Popularity comes from viewers/watchers/buyers, which comes from sales.

You could make stealth accounts just to watch your items, I am going to try this. I will post my findings.

Done some research and this will not trigger and flags.

Ha ha what research have you done? eBay use lots of methods to link accounts and I'm sure the methods they use to detect shill bidding will also flag up if the same accounts keep watching each others items

Don't underestimate eBay!!! Is it really worth it? Surely you would be better offering a good quality item with a great description and listing information to generate real buyers

Been in touch with someone that sells watchers, everyone he has sold to has not had any problems and each account he uses are all the same info.

Everyone knows that you can have the best product on eBay but if there’s loads of other sellers who’s been seller for a lot longer with have the top spots and you might not even get seen!!

To be fair if I sold eBay watches I would tell you it's not a problem to get your business.

Thats a great idea to create a stealth to watch your other accounts that's pretty clever if you ask me.

Many watchers will get you a temp jump in rank. However, your listing will start to go down if their aren't many buyers. Generally, the higher you rank, the more buyers you get. The more buyers, the higher the rank. I've had a few of my listings make it to #3 of all of ebay for a certain keyword.
