Help making my success :D

Ok so i am moving out soon and i basically need to cover all the bills etc. I can get some electronics that sell at 400 average each and after the eBay/pp fees etc yield me a profit of about 250 each. the only issue is id have to sell about 5 a month to plainly cut it even with the basic necessities....

i was thinking of making 10 stealth this month plus then 2 every week. each stealth will get a small history made (browsing + the 10 sell items) Wich is the 1st month. The second month is do more browsing history but this time i will sell 9 of my feedback items and my profit maker electronic.

Is ^ ok? or would it yield to much trouble? I don't plan on adding a bank account to every stealth as i found a different way to cash out without it.

Start by having a broader plan.

For example if you need 500 total living expenses, 500 for other, 200 for savings and 200 for fun money you will need 1400 total profit to break even.

With that being said you are never guaranteed sales or profits so you should always put some back from previous profits just in case that week or month is slower.

Guessing you are very young, why not get a job working 20-30 hours per week to start so you can get ahead and do all of this other on the side until you have a consistent way of making concrete money each and every week?

If you need the 1400 then have enough accounts up and running to cover that 1400 and then always have back ups up and running and growing in case you need them.

Plan for the future, do not blow money, invest correctly in profitable items and always put something back for the future.

Good luck.

well sandy you are very wise :) i have tried searching for a job.... doesnt work out to well when they ask to see SSN etc -_- i don't have any.... as for the items i have two.... one is a keurig b70 and vue 700.... i get em at dirt cheap.... about 20 dollars each. (100% in warranty.) the other is a very known tablet (retails at 500. i get it at 100e) the average selling price of the tablet is 350-410 BNIB. come with it 1yr warranty also.
Later if i had some extra money i know a few people that sell other popular name brand items.... Although i don't wanna sell em on eBay by the surplus. They consist of android phone, iPod, iPhone etc....

Finding items to sell isn't a problem.... SELLING THEM without getting suspended is my actual concern.

Also to add more the place im thinking of moving is 500 rent (electricity and water included) with that add SAY 50 phone. 25 dongle. 30-40 internet. 200 fun money.
So far that's 815. we can throw in 100 food and 100 dollars tansportation.

200+ savings :)

At the end of the month i am looking into about 1200 minimum.

1 keurig vue sells at about 120. 120- about 20 (ebay+ pp fee) and minus another 20 (price to get it)
that means profit of 80 dollars each.
tablet = 400 max sell 350 min so. 350-50 (all the fees. paypal ebay and WU) - 100 (price i pay) = 200 profit wise.

in the end i get from those two items alone a profit of 280 minimum. 1200/280= 5 (rounded up)

if anyhting i can get the ipods for cheap too and sell them for another 200ish profit...

Sandy if that was confusing let me know.... xD i just want to make sure i can sell the items without problems

You need to be prepared for issues always.

Life is how you find ways around any problems/hiccups that come up. There will be some and how you handle them is very important.

Relying on a possible issue and it being your main source of income to me is very risky.

All it would take is to be banned and not being able to pay your rent next month.

You have to have a constant source of income.

Find other products that can do this and add in your other items to be safe.

I mean i would be selling other things tha make minimum profit. mayb 10-30 bucks here adn there each but the main source of income would some through those items above.

I have about 3000 saved up now.

also i just want to be set. who knows in the future my gf and i may get married etc. she has her income form her work and i might even get SSN numebr.....

Try to combine the phone and dongle into one. Say, getting a Android phone and tether with that. I combine my main internet and ebay selling into one by using my phone. And maybe try into looking for roommates to cut expenses on rent.

For some time I was living on less than half of your budget and still had fun and traveled around the US. I would combine things into one trip or one thing and lived with roommates. I kinda hated it but it was fun, was never bored, had someone to talk too, and saved money in the process. Now I just live with my sister. I can afford a apartment or house but I'll get bored.

lolhippl 04-27-2013 03:07 PM

about the roomate part is nice but gf and i have other plans. and i mean its 1k a month... if the original thread i posted would work then ill be good... but i need to know if you think it would work that way. since i can get the keurigs and tabets and other mid range items for cheap..

yotano211 04-27-2013 05:08 PM

I have sold coffee makers in the past. Never had any problems with them but they where slow sellers. I dont know about your products but I guess only way to find out is to sell them. And you dont have to get a roommate, you become a roommate for someone else. Rent a room at a house for a few months. 3k dollars is not a lot of savings, you might want to cut down on your "fun" budget.

Also, when you set up your accounts, dont be cheap and go for free overused services. You should at least verify a few of PP with bank accounts to stabilize them...selling with an unverified pp (while doable) can be dangerous down the road.

danshan 04-29-2013 02:10 PM

Tablets are super high risk and darn near guarantee a review on new accounts. I think the coffee makers if new are going to require verifiable invoices from vetting of ebay. I think the accounts need at least ninety days of selling starting tiny and working up, must be fully verified and must be able to pass 999s.

Sandy D 04-30-2013 12:15 AM

New items on a new account anymore is risky no matter what it is.

Agree, work with used household type items and move small steps into the other items.

Best to have multiple accounts growing and aging over time.
