Significantly not as described !

This is just absolutely and utterly beyond stupidity! A week ago a buyer paid for an item then messged me back saying they realized its not what they wanted so I told them I would send them money.

I sent them money via " money owed " and for the rest of the week I was trying to explain to her how to accept payment.

She is so dumb that she doesn't even know how to accept money so I told her today to contact PayPal and ask them how to accept money from someone.

This user opened new significantly not as described on my PayPal account !!!! Wtf do you do with so many utterly stupid irresponsible people in this world ????

100HRWEEK 04-28-2013 04:25 PM

She was probably dropped as a child. In these cases, I don't respond right away. I let them cool off, since the response period is usually 45 days. When I cool off, I just call Paypal and explain the situation and let them handle her.

imjustme 04-28-2013 04:26 PM

If she opens an item not as described dispute, answer and ask her to return it for a full refund. Likely she won't know how to do that properly either with a tracking confirmation so you will win the dispute.

stanislav 04-28-2013 04:33 PM

Guys thank you for your replies. I guess I was in a rush and didn't make myself clear but I never sent her the item. She paid for the item and them messaged me the same day asking for a refund. So do you actually recommend me calling PayPal and explaining to them ??

100HRWEEK 04-28-2013 04:41 PM

^^^ Yes, we pay them 5% in fees. Let them handle some of the stress. Don't put all of this on your self. Give paypal some work to do.

Speeder33 04-28-2013 04:42 PM

haha imjustme has the perfect idea, if she truly cannot figure out how to receive money on paypal then theres no way she'll figure out how the case is going and that she has to send it back

sometimes dumb people can work in our favor

stanislav 04-28-2013 04:46 PM

About 2 weeks ago another buyer opened singifignatly not as described because he broke the item! He opened case only 10 minutes after messaging me on ebay. I got so upset at him I wasn't holding back!!! He closed the case and I gave him his money back! Wtf is wrong with these people. He told me that he thought this is how you message someone . What !!!!

stanislav 04-28-2013 04:48 PM

Let me ask you this. How much impact does significantly not as describe has on my PayPal. Considering these 2 weren't even fair! I am afraid now they will close my account because of some stupid people who don't know how to use common sense.

stanislav 04-28-2013 06:00 PM

okay I refused to give her a refund! This buyer has the audacity to say it is an (Reason) imitation!!!! Can you believe this ??? Not to mention she provided a FALSE tracking number. Of course because I never sent her the item! I left her about 4 angry replies on Paypal . All of the sudden she messaged me through eBay saying she got it! dumb people!

stanislav 04-28-2013 06:03 PM

See! This is the issue! These complete morons are exploring PayPal and eBay system and this has a direct impact on us sellers. I told her to close this case or else I am calling PayPal to report her.

100HRWEEK 04-28-2013 06:05 PM

how much is the product?

golden_monkey 04-28-2013 06:08 PM

waoh, so she went from dumb as a brick to actively attepting to rip you off.

rsot 04-28-2013 06:47 PM

Wow stanislav - no buyer is worth this much anger on your part - we have all faced these kind of loser buyers....do the needful, block and move on.

A handful of them will lock the account up. Had it happen to me 2 years ago with a new product that I was testing out and then quickly became a huge epic fail. Sometimes trying to make money on cheap products backfires :(

stanislav 04-28-2013 07:48 PM

Yes but how it is my fault? Why would they limit my account if it's not even my fault, which is obviously easy to verify. The provided false tracking number for one and they can clearly see my listing which does indicates in item specification, item description and even in my title that it is non branded.

Anyways she got her money and is not responding to me.

Should I call PayPal and explain the situation ???

rsot 04-28-2013 08:14 PM

Stan, how much was the item - is it worth really putting a MANUAL review (possibly) on your pp account?

stanislav 04-28-2013 08:46 PM

I am sure they always manually review when significantly not as described is open. I already sent her money. She accept it however now that the case is open they are holding original amount. Also the item is under 50$ I am thinking to call PayPal and explain the situation

Because they can ( they don't even need reason to limit you ).

It's a private venue.

stanislav 04-28-2013 11:14 PM

Exactly! Because they can. And I say government should step in and regulate it. If they were like a real bank we wouldn't have as many problems as we do today. To be honest I wouldn't even mind if they always kept 30-50% of all my money for security reasons as long as they promised to not limit, freeze my account unless there was real fraudtaking place.

css1 04-28-2013 11:20 PM

If they were a real bank, we couldn't do stealth. It would be impossible without doing it fraudulently. Hopefully the govt' stays away... think about it.

It's $50. I know it makes your blood boil, but chalk it off as a loss... it happens. You just can't take it personally.

stanislav 04-29-2013 12:33 AM

I dont really care losing money but i dont want stupid people to open significantly not as described against me when they dont even have the product.

Finally "my customer" <----- LOL closed the dispute ...

yotano211 04-29-2013 01:24 AM

Some people really take this ebay stuff seriously. To the point of losing your own hair for it. I prefer to lose my hair the natural way, with age.
I take selling seriously but deep down I dont care about any buyers in the world. They buy from me and I move on.

But cool that the person closed the case.
