Question Need advice on Australian paypal

Hi Guys,

Basically, I am in the process of buying out an I.T company to expand my client base.

With the sale I am getting his paypal account, now I will be moving all the clients on to my paypal account, however for the first few days I will need to log in to the paypal account and cancel and subscriptions etc and monitor it encase any clients send payment to the paypal by mistake.

Now I am in the UK, and the last thing I want to do is get the paypal account limited, not only for me, but for the seller of the business to, the last thing I want to do is restrict him from getting a paypal account in the future!

So... How can I safely stealth an Australian paypal account from the UK?

Cheers

It may be better to let paypal know of this deal.

Bear in mind, paypal accounts can not transfer ownership.

Have you an idea of how long you would need to access the account?

I would recommend from the get-go, trying to do this in the easiest way. Forget vmware, VPS. In other words, look at the simplest way.

And what if you go ahead, do all the transactions, are half way thro' and they limit him?

Right at the moment, I guess this is just talking stage.

hmmm, I will have access in the next few days so I need a plan.

All I really need to do is cancel any subscriptions and monitor the account for a bit to check no one pays that account any more... hmm

You could always ask the company to cancel the subscriptions and then have them close the account. This way no payments could be made to that account.

Very important to check his account with PP and submit proof of ownership of his company in my view. This way it stays clear to PP - PP doesnt like changes and such...looks like high risk and fraudulent. Maybe PP can help with the merge.
