- - Banks I Have Tried
( https://www.aspkin.com/forums/subscriber-discussions/59928-banks-i-have-tried.html)
| x2ruff4u | 05-25-2013 07:46 AM | Savings I find the easiest to open. It's almost natural that people have more than 1 savings now. |

Two points come to mind:
1. i tried to open thru BoFA Online , two savings accts , and my application next day was rejected.. they say they cannot disclose the reason why.. anyone know why this would happen? ive been a BoFA customer with one checking + one savings for about 10 yrs. do you think seldom using the saving acct and then requesting 2 more raised red flags?
2. Instead of opening accts at NEW Banks, why dont you guys instead open NEW checking or savings acct at the SAME bank? which process do you consider to be easier ? | 1. Sometimes BoA will do this to customers. I would check your other accounts to see if they closed them. BoA closed my accounts without any indication because I had 8 savings accounts with them with thousands of dollars going in and out. Not that BoA isn't good for stealth but just watch out with them with opening/closing accounts and large deposits going in and out constantly.
2. For the reason above. Some banks don't like it when you "account hop". Also I am testing out a lot of banks and compiling a list to help other users know some good banks to use with stealth.
I agree in having a few accounts (savings preferably) per bank but if you have 20+ stealth accounts like me one bank isn't going to cut it. |
| Claise | 05-28-2013 12:57 PM | Sorry for the double post.
Just wanted to give another update!
Sent 2 payments of over $1000 to my Bluebird AMEX card it they both went through fine! This is one of the best cards I know of! Completely incorrect names on both the deposits!
As for Suntrust Bank I have verified that both checking and savings accounts work with incorrect names and can take $1000s worth of deposits at a time! |

Looks to me like if you don't have a business account, they tend to close without asking for any documents from you.
If you have business accounts they will ask for a lot of stuff. |
| IronManWU | 05-28-2013 09:05 PM | do you guys think opening a business account is better than opening and using a personal account with stealth or it doesn't matter? |

If you have a registered business then by all means, business account it up for fiscal end review and tax declaration |

You use whatever bank accounts that suit your selling.
As rsot said fees might be higher for business bank accounts. I prefer them for the practical side of business & access to funds.

| Claise | 06-05-2013 11:24 PM | Just wanted to update,
I have also tried a SunTrust Bank Savings Account. Completely incorrect names $1000+ transfers fine!
I am loving this bank. Paypal always completes bank transfer in 24 hours and its in the accounts the next day! |
| GreenBean | 06-06-2013 02:24 AM | Nice one, Claise.
Keep the info coming.
Happy Stealthing

| HunterStudios | 06-06-2013 04:09 AM | Quick question, did you just sign up for the Bluebird Amex card on their website?
PS This thread is amazing, extremely useful information. |

PS This thread is amazing, extremely useful information. | Yes, I just went online and got the card by filling out the info on the website. I did not get the starter pack from Walmart. |
Canadian citizens can have SunTrust bank accounts but go to branch in person to signup - confirmed |
| IronManWU | 06-11-2013 10:20 PM | Anybody out here in California use any of the regional banks out here? Wonder if anybody has had success with OneWest Bank and California Bank & Trust. Might try em out and see. |

I'll post here after I confirm it. |
Rabobank - first time I heard that - checking it out |
| GreenBean | 06-17-2013 05:46 AM | :thumb: good bank. Should check out OK.
Not used Rabobank for months. Hmmm, there's a thought.
:spy: |
Sounds likes exclusive to certain states |
| GreenBean | 06-17-2013 08:49 AM | And Canada.
It's out here in OZ as well.
Known for agricultural lending. |

If you are not using the bank, why would you say this? |

I am saying this to clarify for other Canadian and international users here - there are quite a few |
| Claise | 06-19-2013 02:58 AM | Thanks for helping build the list everyone.
I will be trying out the suggestions that I can and report back on things like incorrect names, deposit amounts, and so on! |
| Claise | 06-29-2013 09:46 PM | Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to update you,
I have tried both a savings and checking account at Chase Bank.
Both transfers were over $500 and completely incorrect names!
Also I have found out if you have Suntrust online banking you can open another savings or checking online in under 3 minutes for free with no opening deposit and you get the account number the next day!!! Great for stealth! |
| corleone | 07-01-2013 10:50 AM | Suntrust should give the Acct number instantly, I believe it's in the signature card that you print. I could be wrong, but I have about a dozen suntrust accounts, it's been a few months since I've opened one, but I've alway's gotten the numbers instantly. |
| thatb0y0 | 07-01-2013 11:57 AM | Has anyone tried using Wells Fargo with a different name? |

After that it has been an open instant online. No need to send in anything!
Weird haha |
| Hercules | 07-02-2013 06:15 AM | BOA does act up once in a while. I had security call me for odd things...not to be trusted. You never know if they notify Uncle Sam about large money so I'm getting smaller there. |

| thatb0y0 | 07-03-2013 03:54 PM | Nope, didn't link any of my bank accounts yet.
Won't do so until sales starts coming in. |

Wells Fargo has been going OK lately. Can sometimes be trouble. But that has been more the fault of the account holder.

:typing: | Had the account for awhile, roughly 6 months more or less. Trying to do some summer cleaning, but I'll wait until the 9 month mark hits.

I tried Suntrust and Keybank, Because I am in California it appears I am out of their service area.
I am testing GoBank and BlueBird right now for PP |
