Apple Mac or Windows 8

Hi guys.

I blew up my laptop and went to get a new one. However I hate Windows 8. Why do they always mess around with it.

So I looked at a mac and figured why not.

My question is, is a mac as good as Windows for staying stealth?

1) Can you have multiple user accounts?

2) Can you stay clean and delete cookies in the same way.

3) Could you say whether you would stick with windows or go Mac.

Cheeers

Windows 8 sucks. I can not even begin to tell you how much I hate windows 8. I bought a new laptop a week ago, was happy as a clam until I turned it on, then my world went to a dark place.... Dumped 8 and put 7 on it....all is good now.
Cant speak for a mac?

I cannot speak to whether or not the Mac will do what you want it to do, but there is another possibility. Buy a laptop with Windows 7 on it? Logic would seem to hold that the prices will be lower - although with the near-universal hatred for Windows 8, the opposite may actually be true...

I purchased a new pc a few weeks ago and planned on reverting it back to windows 7 from the windows 8 that it included. Long story short I spent hours and was unable to do it. I got errors I have never encountered before and I have installed windows 7 like 50 times before. I like windows 7 better but 8 isn't as horrible as everyone makes it seem. I got used to it that same day and I'm fine with it now. Hope that helps.

I'm still running Windows XP with some major mods and I refuse to even touch Win8, what a piece of junk Windows 8 is.

My issue with the Mac is that I've had many custom programs written for Windows.

But I think the Mac is the better machine.

apple Ipad mini

Well I got new ipad mini.... hoping new ip address, using new router...etc...so I can skip the first part of stealth.

Now, my apple is hoocked up with my main email address.....If I set up as stealth guide ..... will I be screwed? Since my Mail email address was blocked by ebay?

Yes. You have the issue of being linked.

Do not think in terms of skipping parts of stealth.

You will make mistakes.

If you have the ebay appl, you have problems. Not wise to use at all

Can anyone speak from experience of using the mac?

stanislav 05-29-2013 12:49 PM

Nothing is wrong with windows ... However I don't think it's a good idea to upgrade your windows 7. Windows 8 is aimed more towards touch screens, tablet pcs etc ...

A friend of mine has a MacBook laptop. I have used it when he was showing it off. It IS faster and sleeker than Windows. There is a definite coolness factor there. But it is not just that. It is a better design overall.

yes but you will be paying literally double for the same laptop/desktop.

Been using Mac's with eBay since the last century and am still doing so. I have compared with PC and always go back to my Mac's. I have used in a number of different countries (with my eBay accounts) and its always been good. If you go the Mac way have a look at listing software called GarageSale been using it for years.

MAC is ideal.

I use it.

Here We Go Again uses it as well.

There are at least two senior UK users who use this too.

Best ever
