No, you wont be able to use that particular paypal account on any other ebay account now, that's any easy link for them and you may end up losing all your funds that you have in there for up to 180 days too..

Not worth it, unfortunately I think you will need to set up new stealth account.

Fun attitude turboman - games and giggling aside, you know what to do now...future operations

ebanned 06-05-2013 03:23 PM

I got the same thing... Its as though eBay are hanging their own rope!

I had no bad feedbacks, just some slow shipping scores which I had a very good reason for and offered proof for the reason I had a bad month, they listened but didnt care.

rsot 06-05-2013 03:53 PM

They toss sellers aside all the time because they know that replacement accounts are being created or other sellers will step up to fill the void

GreenBean 06-05-2013 05:21 PM

More stealth accounts then.
Beat them at their own game

Come back stronger and try to avoid the same mistakes

Exactly, nobody cares about excuses - avoid, make amends, tighten up the operations

Did eBay really send a letter asking you to take your business elsewhere?

Reminds me of Rappin' Rodney, where one of the lines Rodney Dangerfield used in the song was "Eastern Airlines thanked me for flying United"

Back in the 80's, when I first heard that I laughed so hard I nearly peed in my pants.

i asked them where do we go from here...

they said i can still use my account to buy, leave feedback and send messages

i replied that i have no use for a buyers account i need to sell to help pay toward the mortage the bills and on... pointed out i was currently unemplyed and reply on ebay to sell to help make ends meet

and so yes indeed the reply was one of that suggesting i find another online auction site to use

true, true

i have other options in place and fully operational

in future i will try and get items out a little quicker

but in some cases like during the great uk snow in i had no choice but to send out late, had a job to get out of the street at one point and when i did manage to get out i took my post on a sledge to the local post office a mile down the road... only to find it was shut and that the folks who ran the store had not made it to work to open up, 10-15 min normal trip took me nearly an hour round trip
even though eb had put up delay messages the customer nor eb gave a hoot that a little snow had caused the delays

another occasion my father in law passed away suddenly, he lived abroad for the previous 10 years and suffered a heart attack and suddenly passed, my wife dropped everything a shot off over there leaving me with the 2 kids, misses was away from home for 2 weeks... i had my hands full trying to juggle everything and low and behold items went out late
folks were sympathic as was eb but when it comes down to it the reasons dont show on your score... all it shows is a dip in performance and boot your gone

they dont allow for obstacles life can throw at you

rsot 06-06-2013 01:04 PM

I understand turboman - it is a rough period of time but you are working through it. It is sad that eB and pp cannot always appreciate individual cases as many other people have used and abused the platforms

jeffweico 06-06-2013 05:57 PM

I've gotta tell you... Advising eBay - or any business - that you are unemployed and need money is not a great strategy. They will simply trust you less as they feel you are a bigger risk.

Never show them you are weak.

They use that to kill you off.

Or weak-minded - if you catch the drift.
