Verify SSN/EIN on Stealth Account
 

Hello, first thread/post here on the forum.

My question is: If I create a new stealth paypal account.. at what point will they ask me to confirm my SSN? Is there anything I can avoid doing so that they will not need this verification?

I am set on not using a friend/family member's info, hence this predicament.

You need to create multiple accounts to spread the sales out, the key is not to be on pace to go over the 200/$20000 limit

Have a read thought the guide. It outlines methods for people to get around the SSN question when asked by PP. It outlines the EIN method.

Yes, I did see that outlined. The problem I had was that I have already used the EIN for my legitimate business (LLC) with paypal so I would have to go through the trouble of creating a new LLC.

It's not a predicament as such especially as you are approaching the issue now. ( And good for you).

You can make the informed choices before your stealth account starts to really bring in monies.

Avoid at all costs EVER giving out your SSN.

Your viable alternative is considering using an EIN. You can check if you may have another one .

Also realize that if you spread sales and operate well (not high amounts, not high rates), it is possible to avoid being asked to provide SSN or documentation.
