Is there any possible way to do this?

I need to be able to ship from different states without actually going there and shipping the item myself. Basically the reason for this is being i can't have the tracking number show my item being shipped from the same zipcode every time.

Also, does anyone know if usps signature confirmation also tracks step by step or does it only show as delivered or not.

danshan 06-14-2013 01:26 PM

USPS it shows some step by step it really is varied usps sucks but is cheap

you need to ship from different states ship actual items, if so what the hell for?

I mean I do not want any secrets but if I had real items I needed to ship from different states I would ship them to a nicer hotel and in the box I ship to the hotel have the real box inside already with shipping label and paid postage attached picked up by a courier and have courier open it and ship it for you.

if you really want to ship from different states lord knows why but ok!

^^^^ What???

But Loophole: I think certain shippers will do forwarding for you to make it look like its from another state.

Unless you travel to these different states...Not gonna be possible Loop da Loop!

And have stinking low dsr's for shipping because of the extra days it takes for delivery?

A gamble that a 'nice' hotel' would deal with this in the first instance.

Point-to point might be preferable.

Hotels tend to guests especially nice hotels i use them for stealth addresses often

jeffweico 06-14-2013 06:57 PM

The only thing I can think of is if you know someone in the state you want to ship from who will do it for you. In that case, I would send them the inventory by UPS or whatever carrier and have them ship the items. Otherwise, you WILL likely get dinged for your shipping times.

danshan 06-14-2013 07:57 PM

Op please tell me why?

Shipping times in this situation wouldn't matter. Even if it took a month as long as it got there and i had the choice of picking where the item was shipped from.

Looking into that now. There's gotta be a place that forwards packages to places right?

GreenBean 06-14-2013 09:25 PM

Loopie,

Is this for ebay?

Are you looking for a suave drop-shipping method that will fool everyone, including you?

You need a more or less fail-safe method that may increase the cost of your expenses.

Yeah?

You can arrange for the item to be delivered to a a courier company by usps from your address. The courier company will then drop item off at regular shipper/usps ups fedex to ship to customer. You can check with Quick intl. as they are nationwide. Just remember that the courier co. will want your ID and will ask you what you're doing and the box contents have to be labeled on the outside of the box. You don't have to tell them all the specifics but they'll want to know more than the usps because they don't want to get involved with anything nefarious. But they will follow instructions and take smaller box out of bigger box to hand to 2nd shipper.

Just remember, the courier needs something to confirm the delivery occurred. so a receipt or sig will be needed from the receiver.

All that is fine with me as long as it gets there. Thanks for the reply.

It's fairly obvious why he wants to do it, I also wish I could. Tracking info is the one piece of info that truly links you if someone wants to be hidden. Not everyone here sells "legit" items. Many still dabble in vero and other various high profit goods.

I have certain resellers who have bought from dozens of my accounts, which are all registered to different states. If any of them tracked the package, they would all see that they came from the same general area. Some of them probably have, but none have messaged me yet to ask why.

It would be a neat trick to be able to hide the shipping location on the tracking, but I don't see any way. OP, if you ever find a way, do me a favor and pm me because I'm also in the same boat. If I could ever fool the tracking info, I would be that much closer to being 100% stealth.

Here's one trick though that may help you. When printing the label, don't upload the tracking info into eb/pp. Print the label using paypal multi order shipping, but manually enter the address so it doesn't upload to the buyer. Send them the message that their item has shipped, but don't give them the tracking number.

Once they get the package, it would be very unusual for them to track it, so odds are, they'll never see where the package was sent from. I've done this from time to time from buyers who buy from me often, there are a couple of these buyers that I've had troubles with, so I try to stay stealth because I still value their business, and remaining hidden keeps everything good.

Makes sense but the cost seems to heavily outweigh the minimal benefit

Lol dabble and only a few for vero very funny

You would think the opposite. Whenever a newbie comes here asking questions about vero they immediately get bombarded with criticism and told to "sell legit items". I think probably 90% of the members here found this board because they were selling vero. I know that's why I google searched and found this place a few years back.

Ideally we would all like to sell only legit items. Unfortunately sometimes the lure of the Holiday season is too much for some to pass up. Luckily for me, I found a non-vero item which has been a god send, but I still have one problem that I have to constantly avoid with the main product I sell.
