 ever hear of a flash drive?

danshan 06-25-2013 10:38 PM

I cannot and 100 percent do not think it would be passwords. I mean i read somewhere that like ten percent of passwords used are the same that would mean out of ten million pp accounts 1 million have the same password

Are you using your own pictures or are you borrowing pictures. This could be a link.

You have put all the effort into creating accounts.

Don't throw it all away, by doing a step that takes 30 seconds!!!

AuctionsDenied 06-25-2013 11:45 PM

Have you opened up emails from eba/paypl from the same IP address?

Have you clicked on links on these emails?

Have you you disabled images and beacons in your emails?

This could be a cause of linkage between accounts.

Ebayorbust 06-26-2013 01:27 AM

You mentioned passwords being the same. What about the ebay security question? Is this the same also? I read a post on here about someone being linked as they had the same passwords and security question / answer on two accounts.

Given you have not kept tabs on IP, there is no way to know whether the link was caused by that.

Stealth4 06-26-2013 04:15 AM

Security questions are always different

Thank you. This is where I think I went wrong

Never said you had to move from one computer to another.

New Window User accounts helps to avoid need for new computer ...

Dmshark25 06-26-2013 02:16 PM

Once you know the correct way to operate and everyday you follow every step it becomes routine and almost second nature, yes it is alot of work and seems overwhelming in the beginning but if you do everything the correct way everyday you will just breeze from one account to the next

Stealth4 06-26-2013 04:09 PM

I have been selling on stealth account for 2 years and 2months. I have been linked other ways but this is new to me because past 8months I have been doing well

I have two laptops. I use my main one to keep tracking of everything like stock etc etc and then on the other laptop I have all my stealth accounts on different user ID.

newjerseymax 06-26-2013 10:54 PM

If you dont block beacons then all your accounts could be linked.

jamblix 06-26-2013 10:56 PM

I don't think it was the password, that itself wouldn't be enough. I'm thinking a crossed IP and opening links/pictures in email.

You have to log every IP you use. My IP range is probably in the thousands but, every now and then there will be crosses. I went about a year without a single IP cross and still logged every IP then not too long ago I had 2 occasions when I hit the same IP as I used before.

Just use a USB stick and save an excel or wordpad doc with your listed IPs, It literally takes like 15 seconds to log an IP.

It's amazing over 2 years stealth and your just getting linked and more amazing you operated so careless

The judgment render by Dmshark aside, if you are selling these cables across various accounts, your activity might have caused the link.

Actually not selling the same items. Yesterday I just tried adding a credit card to one account which is 4months old and not a seller account and limited again

I can't imagine password linking unless someone is suspicious, then the password might be the confirmation.

An excel file stored directly on C drive (or network location if multiple pc's). Shortcut to desktop on each user account.

Internet explorer on each account home page to whatever displays / changes your ip.

Copy and paste to the bottom of your list on excel. Following some instructions someone kindly posted on here, goes green if its unique goes red if its been used before.

You could even get the website and excel file to autostart when you log on.

I use a virtual pc, so can keep the excel file on the main pc and change ip's while the stealths are logged out.

While not the best idea to use the same pw across accounts, I would be hard-pressed to believe of linking based on pw only....
