What is going on? MC067 + MC999
 

Damn 2013 had been smooth sailing until about a month ago. What is going on with these MC067+MC999s?

I've had 5 accounts get hit with the same exact combination of MC067 listing takedown followed by an immediate MC999 category restriction. These accounts all had 100% positive feedback and a minimum of 25+ feedback.

They are all restricted in the clothing, shoes, etc. category. What is the cause of this? I've had this happen about 6 months ago but, I knew the trigger some competitor made it happen. These however were completely out of the blue, did not have a single buyer complaint. All pictures, descriptions and auction styles were completely different. I'm lost...

At least it wasn't a full out suspension, but might as well be most of my inventory is in the clothing+accessories category. Anyone know how to prevent this?

It could still be a competitor. Or, eBay could be tightening up certain categories.

Was there anything at all different about these accounts? How old were they?

Three were relatively new about 2-8 months old. The other two were over a year and had more then 100 feedback.

Different? Yes they were all stealth accounts under different info, user accounts, etc. The only connection to these accounts were the items being sold. Still though, I had used different pictures and completely different auction styles. Ugh, this is a nightmare, why can't these damn people just let me sell in peace!!

Hmm a competitor just doing a mass reporting...that is possible - seen it by some weird people

5 accounts, same amount of feedback in the same category getting MC999?
Is there anything else the same? Made the same day, one after another etc

Did you read the below thread? Not doubting your ability to be stealth but could you have accidently made an error? Cant recall do you strip your camera data?
