Default eBay / PayPal Case Closure Message

Should I be worried. Trying to close a case and refund a customer and this is happening...

There was a problem processing your PayPal refund.

Please check that your PayPal account is in good standing and try again.
If you're still experiencing issues, please go to the PayPal Help Centre. Have your case details ready for reference.

PayPal is in good standing so not sure what the issue is. Also, another customer escalated a case but eBay havent made a decision and have waited on it and will get back to me. It says I can issue a refund but when I go to do this I get the above message...

any help ?

Usually this happens if you have no bank with valid direct debit attached or you have not enough funds in your PayPal to cover it?

Sorry? Thats the only 2 cases I have had in 3 months. I'm not quite sure how you can make such a judgement without seeing the account?

Ignore such trolls.

If one can't use 4th grade punctuation, don't bother trying to make sense of it.

Your original post was over the top. His account is not shot, just needs to update the VCC and should be good to go again.

UK PP does have issues often, so it may just be a glitch.

Not sure if this is a case of be worried. It is more a case of 'sitting' on your paypal to make sure these glitches get resolved. Get that card updated as soon as you can. More than likely, that will clear up these messages.

As you know, the glitches from paypal have been overbearing. Monitor carefully.

I still think it's another PP UK glitch - too many of those. The PP isnt limited so...perhaps, there is a decision just pending - seems like "Waiting for 24 hours" is a general rule these days on PP UK...sigh
