Does anybody else...

have industry competition?

Main reason for my ban from eBay is due to high complaint rates.. and these are from people that are in the industry as they are purchasing my items and leaving bad feedback..

They are smart too, use different accounts.. some are negative fb, some are positives with 1 stars. I get about 2 orders from them a week.. end of 2 months im dead. I use to have 4 healthy accounts but now they all died this year. Each account over 10,000 positive feedback, 99+% rating, Power Seller, ETC . Weve been in this business for 10+ years and never had this kind of trouble till new competitive sellers started showing up.

Some people stoop low to make a buck. Hope karma catches up to them.

Did you have a block list?

You shouldn't get down, get back on ebay with stealth, make a lot of accounts and if you have too...use stealth against them as well!

It has been this way for many years on ebay.

Competition is very fierce and they will not stop until they can find a way to take out smaller businesses one by one.

Cannot remember the co name in Kentucky but they actually told people their goals were to wipe out competition on ebay and had hired a group of people just to take out anyone who sells similar items and has similar amount of sales.

They bragged about being able to take out the competition.

The only way to avoid this is to spread sales out so if those types find you they cannot take down every single account if you have plenty.

Sad we all have to operate this way.

I have an almost exclusive to pricing on many new era items but found companies will lose money so you cannot make any on certain products.

I would just block my competitors from buying my items. eBay does not like this type of behavior.

It happens because people don't want to compete on price, so they try to get other sellers kicked off of eBay. It rarely works for any length of time, because even if they get 10 sellers kicked off, 10 new ones will quickly take their places.

What is odd in this case is the fact that you have 4 accounts each with over 10,000 feedbacks. eBay is not usually so quick to kick such sellers off. It DOES happen, of course, but it would be really unusual to lose 4 accounts.

Are they linked in any way?

We all have industry competition - one of the reasons to make more accounts and spread the sales. Blocking bidders and using But it not with Payment required are critical features in your listing actions.

Yes it hurts but it's part of the game.

Part of the game involves damage mitigation...with many backup accounts and subtle operations too

These accounts were made over 10 years ago, when ebay told you to make multiple accounts to spread the categories you sell. We had our own rep inside eBay that helped us made better listings and helped fix any policy violations, as well as fix some feedbacks.

Since last year he moved up and now we are stuck with a new rep that just keeps messing up our accounts.. and in the end finally closing all our account. Idiot had no idea what he was doing... and you wonder why eBay calls to get you selling on eBay...

Its also hard know who these people are so I would not know how we will be able to block them...
