Basic Bank With Stealth Account Funding !

Hi , been searching and for using with stealth accounts, basic bank are better then current accounts which few people are saying, but if your regular funding the basic bank with stealth PayPal payments , wont that raise flag with Bank , as it being a basic account ?

Thanks

You shouldnt be using the bank account to fund your PP because your true name will be discovered...a receipt is generated. 1 time is unlikely to cause problems but repeated use is asking for trouble. If you want to make purchases with your pp, use a gift credit card.

sorry i meant withdrawing funds from PayPal into bank account , as its basic account, wont bank not notice if funds coming in fairly regular ?

Thanks

So long as you are not doing anything illegal then nothing to worry about.

Unlikely to raise major flags with bank, but this does depend on the amount.

You can also use the debit card associated with the account, since paypal doesn't do AVS on the name. (of course assuming the street number and zip match)

There are lots of ways to fund paypal. It might be easier to go to a money exchange site and fund it that way. There are lots of people who will sell paypal funds if you send them something that can't chargeback, like western union or bitcoin.

You are misunderstanding the differences.

Current accounts were suggested because they allowed the Direct Debit mandate.

Basic accounts are for users who may not be able ( in the UK) to get current accounts.

Your issue is what account will best suit your ability to get funds from paypal or funds into paypal.

sorry for the confusion it was withdrawing funds from PayPal into Bank , i

also basic accounts the ones i been looking at do allow the Direct Debit mandate , says can by bills by direct debit , i have signed to 2 just waiting for them to arrive

my concern was as its a basic account and keep funding with the stealth PayPal , constantly , i mean £300-£600 a week , would it not alert bank as its basic account ?

and yes am trying to have 2 stealth to spread the load, am adding another bank as the one currently with it is being closed , any help if need to verify the 2 digits ?

Thanks

JamesNorth101 07-27-2013 04:14 AM

Just remember that even though you can have DD on the basic account, you do not want to let PP ever use it. They would find out your real name if they did.

So long as you are declaring the income and paying any relevant tax there would be no issue with that amount.

I dont really understand what you asking when you say 'any help if need to verify the 2 digits?'. Clarify please.

Which banks have you opened a basic account with?

Not sure what you mean regarding the 2 digits?

Is that paypal already verified? Might answer your question.

I think by the 2 digits you might mean the deposits from paypal?

Hi, yes the 2 deposits, yes the PayPal is already fully verified , as the original bank account will be closing, will be adding another just wondering if will have to verify it

Thanks

Here is the good news....

Technically you do not...

GreenBean 07-27-2013 05:07 AM

The PayPal stays verified because of the first bank account making the first verification

Do not need to reverify an account that has already been verrified.

Bank will notice but not likely to do anything if you operate well - don't overdraw on the bank account, don't cause headaches at bank, and don't do frequent withdrawals of huge amounts - few examples to consider...

Thanks all , its a bit of a pain, don't want to leave to much in PayPal just enough for refunds then not to withdrew to bank too often , think £400 - £600 per week into account be ok ?

tip was withdrew little amounts to bank but then that's constant into bank

i do have 2 stealth accounts to spread load but even then , i have the same product but it seems 2 totally different people selling them :)

A lot depends on the age of your account and average sale value. I like leaving 3-4x the average sale value on a PP account receiving many payments. If it's your first withdrawal...aim for sub 250 amount - other people will have various opinions on this amount. Just my feeling about this.

Its a year old account , i have 2 , one i been selling on for over 7 months , all i been doing was £200-£250 withdrew to bank like 3-4 times a week , other account i just started selling on it after a break from it, started slow and withdrew small , but now done a few £250 ,

thing is i aint worried much about the ebay/paypal , i am selling under my selling limit which has increased alot, one is on 300 items - £15000 no way i need to want to reach to that amount per month

its the bank am worried about, as natwest closing my current account in 60 days , just got a letter , we reviewed and decided we will closing it no mention and will not tell me why , i did have a few natwest accounts, 3 on stealth accounts and last 2 months i was moving the money around in large chunks to other of my banks must have flagged it up

so now am going with other banks , thing is now i dont want to withdrew too much into account and too often weekly , but then i dont want to leave too much in paypal just enough for refunds , fees

Ah ha so more info is coming out...you have been messing around with Natwest causing account closure...slowly making sense. That part you need to analyze when you go to a new bank to aovid problems.

As for withdrawal from PP....you have success with the amounts you stated so keep with that.

Be careful moving forward - you have lost ties with a solid bank like Natwest

In that other thread I suggested you get your credit report. Are you doing that?

You have to be very very careful about what you do with bank accounts at the moment. This could all get very messy

Do you realise this
