Any updated info on PP's Micropayment Acceptance Lab Thingie?
 

No, I'm not talking about the PP microdeposits. I'm talking about the PP-lab account add-on which lowers PP fees for receiving payments under $12.

I was curious if anyone here is using it, and if so have you found it to be useful? Do you think they scrutinize your account more if you opt-in to this program?

Any cons to being FORCED to register as a business seller? That seems shady to me.

I have used it on some accounts that sell lower value items.

Only worth it if 99% of your sales on that account are under the value of £9(ish)

Can make a large difference in profit margin for items that sell for £0.99 to £2.99


Much above this and there is small savings to be made, but only £0.10 or so

Not had any issues with account scrutinisation though.
