Does PP Do the $1.95 Verification anymore?

Hi -

I've been out of the game for a while (about a year) but I used to know the process like the back of my hand.

Today I made my first stealth PP since I took a break about a year ago. I put the CC info in and expected to go through the CC confirmation process where they hit your card for $1.95 and you need to enter the code on the statement.

However, that part never happened and I can't seem to find a way to make it happen using the PP interface.

I want this done asap because the card has $3 left on it which will be eaten by "prepaid cc maintenance fees" within the next few weeks. I figured hey, might as well get a free stealth PP out of it instead of handing my $ over to Visa.

Please let me know how to prompt the Credit Card Verification on the PP site.

Thanks,
Goozle

Update -
The help center on the PP site tells me to go to Profile / My Money / Update CC ... then there should be a link that says "Confirm My Card." But that link isn't there for me. Has PP stopped confirming CCs?

More info -
This is a US prepaid CC and I am registering from the US PP website with a Chinese IP. I thought that info would be helpful for anyone who was confused about my flag.

Go to withdrawal.

You will see monthly limits for withdrawal

Click on link to lift limits.

From there you are good to go

Hi Omgozzle :yar:

Long time since we spoke.

paypal does not always do the two deposits these days.

That has changed in the past year.

Also, Omgozzle, I'm throwing in this thread for you to get an idea of what paypal is doing with vba's & paypal. It's just to fill you in with paypal's actions that were not happening like this a year ago.

It's not quite that walk in the park, we used to be able to do.

Good Luck

I added a prepaid cc to a 3 accounts today the two did the charge not instant but when I needed to withdraw the limit was there and I just clicked the link to confirm debit and it charged the card and from the home screen click confirm CC and type 4 digit code that was on 2 where the bank withdraw was close to 0, the other that I haven't did a withdraw and had full $500 the limits were raised automatically

Thanks for the info on VBA's, but do you have any other info for VCCs?

@ AuctionsDenied

Thank you for the help, but that info is not working for me. It doesn't prompt me like it should. It gives me withdrawl options without any chance to confirm my card.
