It could mean your tablet is picking up another nearby wifi network. Have you verified that is the case?

If all 3 devices are on the same LAN segment, then they would all have a unique IP assigned within your 192.168.0.0/24 segment.

They will also have the same external (NAT) IP.

The fact that your tablet has a separate external NAT IP than the other 2 devices, it means you are using another network.

If they have different external IP's, then yes, they are considered separate.

But please explain to me how 2 devices on the same wifi router can have different external IP's?

There's something in your network setup that I must be missing. Do you have 2 separate cable modems from your ISP?

Because what you explained to me, from a network perspective...is impossible :p

I tend to think the tablet was picking up another wifi network outside of your own. Seems like there might be an unsecured wifi network nearby you.

Unless your tablet also has 3G and was on a 3G network....?
