Accounts linked

Interesting story here. Does anybody have any suggestions?

1. Purchased a US stealth account from this forum in november 2012
2. I never used it/logged into it until July 2013 where I put it on a unknown US VPS
3. July 2013: I built some buyer feedback buying small items.
4. August 2013 (a couple of days ago): I listed an item.
5. Selling privileges has been restricted today because it appears my account is linked to another seller (none of my account)

Item is a low risk non-vero item. This account is setup on an unknown US VPS. I connected via only one IP since I have had that account. No info has been changed.

Here is the message I got:
MC999 Selling limits have changed on your eBay account - xxxxx
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Dear xxxxx

Based on your account information and activity, it looks like user ID OTHEREBAYID THAT IS NOT ME is associated with your account. This usually indicates that both accounts belong to the same person. At this time, you won't be able to sell any additional items with this account because your other account is restricted or otherwise not meeting minimum seller standards.

You won't be able to sell any items with your account until you provide us with additional information. There are 2 ways that you can do this--through My eBay or the next time you sell.

To start the process through My eBay:
1. Click "My eBay" at the top of most eBay pages. You may need to sign in.
2. Go to the selling section.
3. Click the "Request higher selling limits" link in the monthly selling limits section.

To start the process the next time you sell, click the "request higher selling limits" link in the alert message the next time you try to list an item.

You can also begin selling again by resolving any issues with the other account. We've already sent instructions for resolving these issues to the email address registered to that account.

Could be a re-use of an old number...won`t go into details, but depending on seller, some past sellers (no longer on forum) have had account issues.

No real loss in trying to call and sort it out - have all your account information handy.

I would contact the seller that you bought the account from, they will be in the best position to assist you.

From the wording, that will not be possible.

Seller is likely no longer involved with the forum.

Catch22 for what the OP does.

that happened to me on an account I purchased only 3 months ago, when I called they said the phone numbers were what linked the accounts, (seller did replace account, although it likely was not their fault, just chance). lost the account in the end....
