One central mailbox too risky?

I know this sounds a but obvious, but I'll ask anyways.

What do you guys think of a central mailbox for your stealths as a return address?

You would email the customer directly because the PayPal account will list the customer's rmail address in the transaction.

This mailbox would not be listed under any stealth account.

The answer sounds obvious, just want to hear some input.

It's not as risky as you think - you would justify it as saying that it is the main return site for products....like many businesses do

^^^

Makes sense, I'm more afraid that some unreasonable customer would just report that mailbox, which is why I thought that the answer would be obvious that that one central mailbox would be risky.

I do something similar, my central return address has the name "Product Returns" in so a customer would think nothing of it.

Again, I wouldnt really worry that someone will report this if you explain that this is a standard business return address (RMA) - it looks very professional to many

Another option is a printed return label to include with items.

Make sure you 'define' your return policy too.

Email is OK. But I have found labels more effective.

Sadly, buyers do not read

The printed return label is good - even though buyers may still lose it...still a good professional option to include, +/- with a thank-you note
