They will ask that you put the husband on the phone for a second and make a statement, "I am john smith and I give you the right to speak to my wife as an advocate on my behalf for my account." or something similar. Then they ask that the phone be handed back to you, and you're good to go. Back in the days when I had issues with this, I would use a voice-changing app on my phone and it worked fine. Quote:
