Paypal Limited - cannot complete steps

I am trying to complete the steps for Paypal and having some problems.

-Validate Your Account Information
I have tried adding the existing Entro Pay card and a new one but it keeps coming back with error saying cannot link card and phone verification is cancelled.

-Business Information
I am unsure what I should put for Category/Sub Category and Sales Venue?...would that be EB?

-Proof of Postage
Most items were not sent tracked. I do have some PO receipts, will they accept these?

-Proof of Delivery
How do I prove this? :(

-Provide more information about payments
When I click on this just takes me to overview of recent transactions and I get an error saying missing ID...

-Invoices and Supplier Info
Slightly stuck on this as its China! :(

Don't want to lose this account, please help.

The only thing thats been accepted and complete so far are confirm bank account and link card (although these already were anyway)

I have submitted ID and Proof of Address.

If you're stuck on the steps, call up paypal and talk to them nicely about what steps you're having problems with. They might be able to omit a few steps or give you alternative options.

Are you receiving items or dropshipping? Wont look good to PP for Chinese invoices...you will need to go creative...

I am receiving items.

What should I do about Business Information?

Are you indeed a business? If not - you would have to explain that this is just personal profit - hobby or such, small time seller

90% of the time when I get hit with this shotgun blast of ridiculousness it means the account is toast.

No matter how good it is, just give up and make 5 more.

If you realllllly want to keep the account, follow rsot's advice and call them. Explain the situation and have good, solid reasons as to why you don't have the paperwork they're asking for. I've done this and got 4 out of 5 paperwork requirements removed from having a nice tone of voice and an honest attitude.

Can't stress enough that WHAT you sell OP will have a huge impact...if it's high risk, no matter what you do - you may not get the account back

Once again, call them and they will tell you what they're looking for!

Another issue I have is the account is male....and I am female!

The account does sell high risk...branded cosmetics.

Shall I make invoices/supplier info and give this a shot.

The other thing is I went on holiday and ended up having some cases opened - will this also impact?

1. In the US it works like this: Get on the phone with them and say that you're the wife, you run the business and your husband wouldn't know his ass from his elbow about anything having to do with the account. They will ask that you put the husband on the phone for a second and make a statement, "I am john smith and I give you the right to speak to my wife as an advocate on my behalf for my account." or something similar. Then they ask that the phone be handed back to you, and you're good to go. Back in the days when I had issues with this, I would use a voice-changing app on my phone and it worked fine.

It's probably not worth your time, but go ahead and try.

Yes. Be prepared with some kind of horror story about how grandma got run over by a reindeer and you couldn't get to the post office because you were busy suing Santa or some crap.

Branded cosmetics with multiple cases and your excuse is that you were on holiday...it is not looking good - PP/eB doesnt like that...

What looks a heck of a lot better is telling ALL the facts instead of making the thread like a dental extraction visit.

Lol...sorry!....dental extraction visit

Shall I upload as much as I can and then risk the call?

rsot 09-10-2013 01:30 PM

Worth a shot infinitelyannoyed but remember...lot of posters on your thread have the consensus that you are unlikely to succeed...get everything in order and take your best shot - good luck :)

Getting stuff in writing is best policy indeed

:)

My rule of thumb is fight until ebay/paypal put in writing the account is dead.

That way I am at ease with myself that I fought as hard as possible in an effort to save the account.

Do it!!!!
