account suspended - not providing documents fast enough

Hello

One of my stealth account got a MC010 on 9/9 asking for ID and copy of receipt for item I have listed (low risk/no brand).

Account is one year old, good data, no problem, good DSR.

I have had 72h to comply but I guess I was a little to slow to send the documents. By the time I was able to send them today, I noticed the account had been suspended (MC999) a couple of hours earlier today.

Is it worth it trying to call ebay and ask them to review the documents I sent?

Thx
J.

I would call anyways, if you uploaded the docs but were late there might be some chance to save the account, what's the worse that can happen? it's already MC999'ed.

I would go for it.

At this point you can't do anything worse so give it a shot try and save the account, and if anything you will get more information on how they operate so use it as a learning experience.

Just wondering did you do anything like log on from a different computer And IP to trigger this?? Or was it just a random thing

Re: account suspended - not providing documents fast enough

I have emailed them and I will give them a call tomorrow. Not looking forward to talking to eBay. It is energy draining.

It was random. I am now running close to 30 stealth accounts. I can't think why this one got picked when I have other accounts doing very similar sales/similar products and they are untouched.

I am going to prepare all the documentation that ebay may ask in advance now for my other accounts. I don't want to get caught off guard.

In the grand scheme of things, it feels good to not have to worry about one account going down. I will just create 10 more this week-end.

Will keep this thread informed.

Thx
J.
