Well-I am def. NOT a techy person--but I can tell u what "I look out for"..
When u create say the "auctiva account token"--the acct info/the snapshot is taken over at auctiva..it is then stored for future use, auctiva dials into ebay if u may, and accesses your ebay info, gets its "token", maybe some call it a cookie, or an authorization code, then comes back over to auctiva to finish up the registration process..
IN Ebay--they create a cookie to track your usage, your pc type, your ip address,
like when i log into bank of america--it KNOWS whether ive cleared my cookies or not..
