Paypal credit card verify?

its been a while since i verify a credit card. I link my card... but do they still do The one that does 1.95 charge to the card and you have to put in the numbers for verify it? Does paypal still do this, because I don't see the button or link for it no more? I just asking for ssn or bank account to make my account paypal verified.

If they still do where do i find the link

Sometimes they do it but it is actively being phased out - card seems to autoconfirm these days for a majority of people
