is it safe to change a purchased aged account into a business under my real company
 

Hello everyone,

I wish to purchase an aged account in order to save time and bypass selling limits. Would it be safe to turn it later on to a business account under my real company and connect it to my real PayPal? What would be the possible pitfalls? Even though this account was created initially with another name when I change it to a business account under the company to which I am the owner, would the creator of the account have any possibility to claim the account?

Tell me more about that paypal account.

If that paypal is attached to a suspended ebay account, it can never be used on paypal again.

What happened with your previous account?

What country will you sell on is important too.

Thank you for getting back to me. I am expanding my business and want to open ebay and paypal accounts to other countries after forming companies in those countries. I have already found the proper suppliers and Amazon fulfillment will handle shipping even to eBay clients. I already sell on eBay and wish to avoid the waiting period for the new accounts. Since after sales arrive to a considerable level PayPal will ask for Tax ID etc I was wondering if at the time that I will change the purchased eBay account into a business account I could also change the linked PayPal account with my legit problem free business account of the same company.

Sorry to trouble you with this unusual situation. I do own a brick and mortar shop as well as an e-shop in Greece and collaborate with those French and Italian suppliers for many years now so I know their products well. Due to the very bad economy, sales have dropped dramatically even though the products are authentic made in Europe and sell well in other countries, so I need to expand internationally. I have formed a company in France and opened a company Bank account. I do want everything to be legit but I cannot wait for a year to raise my selling limits.

The situation is not a trouble but what you are wanting to do with changing name info could trip up risk flags. Why don't you make multiple stealth accounts to deal with more sales - asking for increased selling limits too quickly is not the best move
