How is ebay still tracking me?
 

I have deleted all cookies and browsing history. Including from the internet bar.

I have better privacy installed which is deleting my flash cookies.

I upgraded fire fox restarted my computer, and deleted all book marks.

However when i go to ebay a whole slew of products that i searched for the last time i was logged in is still showing.

I'm not logged into ebay.

Can someone help me? Thanks

For ebay, cookies are actually recommended. You should operate using a separate windows user account and keep it separate from everything else.

I would be more concerned about your IP address & keeping track of it, ensuring ANY of your old information is not being reused in anyway, & web beacons.

Any one of those things have a better chance of linking you than cookies.

You did not mention IP address

If you used the same IP for all of your accounts, they are all linked.

New IP AND new windows user account for each account you operate.

I had the same problem after my account got suspended. I deleted all my cookies, deleted browsing history and changed my IP..the new account didn't last 24 hours.Now I just use different user accounts.

Did you delete flash?

Sure it was a new public IP?

Did you use a new phone number, address, name and DOB?

Did you try to connect it to an old PP account?
