Strange PP limited
 

Hello,

One of my new account got limited and ask to confirm bank and location.

The the bank is already confirmed with PP. Any one have any idea?

The account is Verified

The account still Verified and show linked and confirmed Bank account

But the limited still want to confirm back account which is already did

When I click on the Resolve link on the Confirm Your Bank Account item and I got this

And it come to this screen which my bank account already confirmed.

Anyway to get away with this one?

Which bank did you use? (prepaid? Greendot?)

Did they take the deposits back? I have been limited in the past once deposits were returned.

Sounds like pp did a manual review on the account and didnt like the bank.

The bank is VBA and I did the instant confirmed, not the deposit one

@Tony, VBA...can you use a real account of yours and 2 deposit method-verify? If not...you might actually have to call up PP and tell them that this step is `silly` since already verified...

Not able to understand rsot's reasoning.

Using a real bank account on a limited paypal with a dodgy VBA?

I remember in the past I've had a paypal account with that kind of limit and the same problem but it was a real bank account. After a couple hours it just changed status to passed that part of the limitation by itself.

I agree that it COULD be a waste but it is one way to get this step done - I still prefer calling up pp and taking the explanation shot to get this step removed

I do not like to say logic and paypal in the one sentence.

Let's try 'common sense'.


Consider waiting 24 hours to see if there is resolution as mentioned by 123.

Consider either calling in or sending email.

Result is one bank account to use another day.

Win-win.

Update on this problem.

I tried to do the the "Confirm location" but failed.

- First I add a vanilla visa giftcard successful but then it get me to another windows ask me to confirm location by phone.

- I then click call me now, received call and enter the 4 digits code. They accept it but then get the email instantly tell me that

This account just sold 2 items for a total $100. Received 1 regular payment and 1 eCheck. The eCheck automatic cancelled when my account limited but on eBay site still say pending.

Anyone have any idea if Google voice can't confirm location anymore?

1st one, take 2 pics. 1 is your driver lic, 2 is your passport, to remove the "Confirm Id" step.
2nd, choose another bank account to solve.

I was on your EXACTLY case, with EXACTLY 2 steps, 3 months ago. I lifted the limit successfully.

I just move on to new account. It is good to learn :)
