Help getting back on ebay
 

Hello,

so I have been restricted of selling for about 3 weeks now. I was on the bay for over 13 years and with a few months of high dsr ratings they decided my selling practices werent up to their standards.

Although I would like to never give them my business again I am forced to try and get back on. I have read the book a few times but I am aware that some things may have changed. I need some advice as to which method all the experts recommend.

I would like to create an LLC or S corp to have it be legitmate but concerned that they might ask for information regarding the owner or orginator of the corp. Has anyone had any experience with this method.

Also the 2nd option I am thinking of is creating a brand new account in a family members name with no similarities in the name. The only issue here is we dont want this person involed in the financial aspect of the business.

Can the paypal account/bank account be different then the bay account name?

The bank account is in your real name but can be REGISTERED to the STEALTH pp (different name). PP registration info should match eB info.

Ok Thanks for the help rsot, so ebay name and paypal have to match. How does that work when you have to put your SSN number in?

Im pretty sure I have the IP address and cookies figured out, but still trying to understand how the creating account works. So im going to have my friend create an account with ebay and paypal then attach my brand new bank account info to that. But doesnt ebay send tax info to irs ? Thanks in advance for your help!!

Correctly operated (and staying below limits), it IS possible to avoid being asked for SSN.

That's not quite the proper approach for a newbie.

Before starting out, read the book a few times then browse the forums for a few days/weeks.

Paypal does tax info and IRS.

Your better choice is to make your own LLC and have an EIN.

Please read through the paypal forum and paypal limited forum. You will find out there more info. That will help answer part of your questions.

You are doing fine. Early days so take the time to learn.

First properly set up the account OP - get the process straight - then you can worry about tax and all that as you begin to sell. Discuss
