How to get Ebay Unlimited limits?
 

Hi I have got my relative to make an ebay account and they have never had ebay before themselves or at their address. At the moment its been selling for 2 months and got 15 items £1,000 monthly limit to be reviewed in 30 days.

how long before all limits are removed? Feedback is 17 (all selling) with all ratings full 5 Star. I need the account to be able to list £20,000 worth of items a month, any idea how long it will take to be allowed that? thanks

It will take a few months of good selling to get to that point, or you can just make as many accounts as you want and sell as much as you want.

You will never get an ebay account with unlimited selling now. Keep selling to the max of your limits and the limits will grow organically.

If you need to sell more, make more stealth accounts.

If you want to get the £20,000 a limit as fast as possible, I would buy an aged account.

Fastest I have ever gotten to limits of 1170 items and over £20,000 was 5 months, and that came as a real shock when I logged in. Usually it takes from 8 months to a year.

Helps to verify the account, confirm the account, become TSR (EPS) and supply the docs for lifting the £1900 limit.

List to the max each month, but be careful when you have been given a limit increase to not go mad on the account.

Even if a new account does not show limits (it occasionally happens) it does not mean the account is unlimited. I had one such account and pushed it just a little bit. eBay ended up limiting me. I don't know why the account did not initially have limits.

Even if you WERE ABLE to get to the point where an account was unlimited, eBay can still limit or suspend you at any time.

The best way to sell in volume is by getting good feedback, avoiding complaints, and dealing in low risk items. That will raise your limits pretty quickly. If you are selling higher-risk items, then it will take more time.

Or, as JamesNorth101 mentioned, you could purchase an aged account. However, I would only do that if you are familiar with stealth. Aged accounts are not cheap and a newbie could potentially screw it up if they don't know what they are doing.

Bad move doing that to a relative.

Who is dealing with taxes?

It may take you months to get higher limits.

eBay are not the idiots here. What you think will differ from what they want.

Make more stealth accounts and spread sales.

No set definite period on gaining higher limits.

Dangerous to be operating with friend and family info.

People tout the stealth guide on this site, but at the same time, the first suggestion is to NEVER use friends or family info. I never did get the disconnect between what people on here say, and the stealth guide.

For those that don't wanna click it, it's a link to a sellers page. A seller, who hasn't sold anything in over 3 years, and only has 22 feedback score. A seller, who has listed $310,000,000 worth of listings.

and that's not even a fluke. There are tons of these accounts. Some less then a year old. Some with 1 feedback. Some with 95% or lower feedback. makes no sense at all.

The account that I linked to, has had those things up since at least june 6th.

Even found it on a list of top 10 most expensive listings.

Stealth guide is a few years old. What was a good method back then is not any more.

The guide gives a rough overview of how it all works

The forum keeps the methods up to date.

It would be impractical to rewrite the guide ever few weeks as methods change.

Well, every few weeks, no. But every 3-6 months wouldn't be that hard at all. If you're buying something, might as well not be 2 years out of date, right?

No need for the guide to also be updated.

99% of it is still relevant, just one or two methods that have since been improved upon.

As recently as about 1-1.5 years ago, it was easier to create an account with a chance to get HIGH limits. Nowadays 10/1000 is the norm to begin an account and work with

I posted up a $5 listing on a 90 day account, and it got erased and I had to call ebay.

That seller may have another main account, and thus can do this. Monitor the listing for a month and see what happens.

For myself, I advise newer users to go slowly.

Majority who have replied have tested the waters.

We were getting those suspension notices long before they became as common as now.

When we experimented and found by listing slowly, staying under the radar, our plans changed.

I prefer to say go slowly rather than say be gung ho, list what you want.

My hope is it prevents one less suspension.

FYI, book is under revision now.

Forum has always been an adjunct to the book.

New limits are the norm for new accounts.

My last account created in 2011 has 1 million dollar limits.

It is different now, the new accounts I created this year started with 10/1000 and are slowly growing.

Tactic I have used, as suggested my many people here, is creating multiple stealth accounts per your needs. It is little more complicated to manage but you will get what you need.

I have an aged account that I got to 125k after 3 month of use. I dont sell more then 3k a month on this account. I know that this amount of 3k is already pushing the boundaries on paypal....

The 3rd month I became top rated power seller....

I have only 2 variations of the same item sold over and over....

Steady selling with great customer service is the way to go. Do your best by the rules.
