Vero Policy Violation
 

I received one of these today from ebay on a fairly new account.
I have never in my life received one of these, I buy direct from the manufacturer and have sold these items for over 6 years.

I received this today, and the email address shown in the violation address is a yahoo.com address which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to be the manufacturer.
So i suspect it to me a competitor.

Am i able to get a violation like this removed because it is the first one on my account? If not, how long is it going to stay there?
I hope this will not bring my account below standard, as i look forward to my listing increases every month and it will probably not happen for a long while now. :rip:

I would e-mail eBay and get it removed - only eB can do this. You can justify with the same reason: yahoo.com e-mail...VERY likely just garbage...eB knows about this underhanded tactics.

If it is a high risk item...well, you know what chances you are taking.

Im confused was message through ebay or just message anyone could send through message system?

Yes, it matters GREATLY whether or not the message was actually FROM eBay. A contracted company representative (like a law firm enforcing the manufacturer's trademarks/copyrights) COULD use a Yahoo.com email address, although it would be HIGHLY UNUSUAL.

If the email just came to your email inbox and is not in your eBay messages, then it is probably a competitor trying to scare you.

In any event, I don't see the harm in contacting eBay. The OP stated they are buying directly from the manufacturer. As long as eBay could check that if need be (via a phone call or receipts) then it should be easy to have the violation removed. If this is a matter of the manufacturer not wanting their products on eBay at all, then it still won't matter as it would be very difficult to consistently sell the product on ANY account.

If there is a flaky email address on the actual eBay notice shows how much attention gets paid to claims.
