First negative feedback in a while
 

Got my first negative feedback in months now. I am thousand percent sure it was a competitor. Sent the package back to me the same day he received it, didn't even care to open it. Even messaged him to show him receipt. Didn't reply. Which obviously screams competitor all over it. Negged me as soon as he got his refund saying phake item blah blah blah. The usual ahole who wants to ruin someones business.

Just wondering if its even worth hitting the report button and trying to get this feedback removed. Usually things like this are set in stone and eb doesn't give a crap if you actually deserved the fb or not. Has anyone here been able to get a neg fb removed by the report button? Or maybe by calling it?

New feedback policy in place now. If buyer has a history of doing this, it will automatically get removed (in theory)

If buyers do this enough now they could even go down, and have there account limited for fraudulent actively. However wither or not eBay hold's up to that is another story. i would report him yes.

Due care must be taken for sure.

Be careful of how you do react, Loopie.

Consider selling some small items quickly to get feedback & get rid of the mark.

That was a suggestion made by Dmshark25 in another thread.

A worthwhile option to consider.

Quick sales of low-end items will get the positive ratio higher up as time goes on.

Its what small items sell quickly to do this - my items are about £28 but if anyone has any 'generic' ideas would be handy, just to boost and get rid of a neg.

Make handmade items and sell for less than a quid - you will take some loss but hey, feedback up'page

This is what I have seen on 4 accounts,,,for well OVER a year on the youngest of them,,,other here say no, that is has no impact on auto increases,,I cannot say that

I picked up a neg on an account within the first month of selling. Account has still had increases in selling limits.

Definitely a neg reduces your chances of getting limit increases but it's not absolutely guaranteed.

There is hope, lol.

Interesting concept - probably some kind of formula involving the neg feedback effect on limit increase.
