Address question for PayPal and eBay

Hello I am going to be opening up a new business checking account and not sure what to do about the address part.
I don't want to put a random address I have been reading that it isn't a good idea but on the other hand I don't want to spend $100 on a new mailbox locally that is the rate I have been seeing.
If I went to my local post office I would have a po box # not a actual address.
But I then heard you can use a po box with changing it around etc.
I am so confused on how to go about this any help on which kind of address would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Or I should say the cheapest safest way to have a address.

Some Post Offices offer the P O Box with two formats.

Street address & P O Box with suite number.

Check if there are Mom & Pop stores near you that may offer a similar product.

Good Luck

Any ideas what to do about a second stealth account address I am going to create?
I don't want to have to pay for another po box.

Use 3rd party shipping software. Use company name for "ship from address" and upgrade Ebay account to business account to use business name as return address in case it's a dispute return.

Apply for EIN, bring EIN letter to USPS/UPS/FEDEX when picking up your packages.

Use an address in your area. You don't want to travel 20-30 miles to pick up packages.

So are you saying to just pick a local fed ex place etc and use that as my address?
So I don't need to get another po box?

No. That's for using random address in your area.

So how will I be able to pick up stuff I purchase off of eBay ? Or have a return from a customer ?

Also are you legally allowed to make up a random name with that random address?

Returns can always be handle OFF eBay via e-mails...or attaching different return labels...like businesses do

That is a good idea. I will have to figure something out.

You do not need to go the trouble of contacting the buyer off ebay IF you set your account up correctly from the start.

You should have access to your address.

You can, and should, print up return shipping labels.

You define in your listing about returns and what a buyer should do.

Learn to minimise contacting buyers for silly things like this. Buyers are known to report sellers to ebay for silly things.

You can also vary the address of a po box in a clever fashion so it looks like a different address (for other accounts)

Forget that if you are stuck or legalities.

PO Box is a good start.
