A few questions for new account

Hello everyone, I was just recently indefinetely suspended due to low detailed seller ratings. Gross sales were high 220k for the year. 99.1% positive feedback. Only 2 negative and 2 neutrals. Ebay says they don't want me anymore because of low detailed seller ratings. I've called maybe 15 times and talked to all different supervisors pleading that I have a family and kids to support from eBay, they don't care at all.

My questions:
- Will I get traced if I use my moms name? Last name is that same.
- Billing address is same as address eBay has on file, will PO box work?
- Should I completely take new pictures of my inventory to be safe?

Thank you for the advice,

Randy

eBay often stick to their guns when a decision has been made, that account is now gone so time to start stealthing.

Its not advised to use a relatives or friends name, it can lead to issues later on.
Mom and pop shops (I think thats the term the Americans use) are very good options for the US.
Yes, take new pictures and make sure you wipe the EXIF data

You need to be a really brand new you.

Avoid using your Mom's name. Be independent.

You need to have new photos, new computer. Nothing can link to the old you.

Regarding this suspension are you going to be able to avoid repeating the same problems?

No point in starting over if you end up having the same issues.

What was the suspension notice? Tell us about that too.

Welcome to the forums OP.

You have the guide - good, read it well.

As for your questions:

- dont use Mom's name - go stealth, different name
- New PO Box can work
- Taking new pictures is a very good stealth move.

All the best.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I hope not to repeat some problems. Just had a low DSR rating.

What about billing address? Do I make a new checking account with a different billing address? Can the bank give me a checking account with the billing address to be a PO box? Thanks

Re: A few questions for new account

Don't worry about the ADDRESS of the bank account. That makes no difference.

Example:

Say your PP address is in Mississippi.
Your po box is the address in Mississippi.
BUT you bank account branch is in Illinois.
Doesnt matter - with the ROUTING NUMBER and ACCOUNT NUMBER, you keep the name of the pp account and just add the bank to verify. It will go through.

You could have bank accounts all over the country...address for BANK does not make a difference.

Ebay does not care about your family at all. Low dsrs is the new norm for ebay suspensions and they are not budging one bit.

Do not take the the wrong way but if you did 220k in business you should have done better at handling customer service etc and not get low dsrs.

Ebay has been on a roll lately with taking down accounts with low dsrs and you can call them until the cows come home and they wont move.

We all have families to feed and we all have to adjust to ebays and paypals ways as if this is your source of income you need to look into others means of income for your items as well as getting multiple accounts up and running.

Do not put all your potential income into ebay alone as ebay has taken down huge accounts that were from 1995 and no dsrs issues and no reason other then take it down with no reason.

Certainly do NOT rely on one account OP - you need to spread the dread over couple of accounts at least if not more

My major worry is that my product is jewelry and average item kis $1000 so having multiple accounts is difficult because I need high limits on each name.

Then you will need more time to BUILD the accounts to that level ...or you must explore other ways of selling.

Jewelry and HIGH sale amount per transaction are huge risks for a NEW account...
