| | | philkwok | 08-14-2008 04:06 PM | can you have more than 1 ebay linking to 1 paypal? hey, i got my paypal limited when useing paypal to pay for ebay fees.
i am using 2 ebay account to sell and receiving money to only 1 paypal account. do you allow to do that? it was limited last week when i use it to paypal for 1 of my ebay fees. so, what happen here is that i use 2 ebay to sell and receive money into 1 paypal. is it a problem? do you think this is why i got limited? what is the best ay to pay ebay? |
| ebayhateluv | 08-14-2008 06:21 PM | HI:
No more can u use 2 ebay accts tied to 1 pp acct,
That is--IF u dont want BOTH ebay accts going down, if/when pp gets limited |
| Riolas | 02-06-2009 01:56 AM | I disagree.
I have had one paypal account linked to 2 ebay accounts for a few years now. |
| GreenBean | 02-06-2009 02:05 AM | Riolas, read what ebayhateluv wrote. Yes, you can have x2 ebay accounts to one
paypal account (just like you posted). BUT there can be a problem should an ebay account
be suspended. I have added this thread as it is much more informative AND current time-wise. http://www.aspkin.com/forums/ebay-di...ne-paypal.html |
| Riolas | 02-06-2009 04:21 AM | What ebayhateluv wrote was very confusing and difficult to understand. From what I understood, he/she said that:
No more can u use 2 ebay accts tied to 1 pp acct,
means you can not do it. |
| GreenBean | 02-06-2009 05:01 AM | Fhs, that thread you are quoting is over 8 months old. I go to the trouble to give you a current up to date thread and you go on about the old thread. Read the newest thread and comment on that. |
| NO ID | 02-06-2009 09:07 AM | For EbayStealth reasons - you need 1 ebay account for 1 paypal account - if you have multiple Ebay accounts linked to 1 paypal account then you could get them all suspended if you have problems with 1 of your ebay accounts. |
| Here We Go Again | 02-06-2009 08:47 PM | Yes you can have 2 eBay accounts per Paypal account.
If 1 eBay account goes down be ready for the other to die rather quickly.
If your Paypal gets limited be ready to lose both eBay accounts.
You MUST keep track of your data very carefully.
The use of separate computer user accounts is a MUST.
1 Computer user account = 2 ebay accounts & 1 Paypal account.
Each eBay account gets its own Auctiva account.
I practice this on just about 90% of all my eBAY accounts.
Here is a brief explanation:
1 - Create a new user account on my computer
2 - Collect the "Personal" data I will be using
3 - Start a "Stealth" Paypal account
4 - Lift Paypal withdraw limits
5 - Add a credit card and then enter the expanded use 4 digit code
6 - Add a checking account and validate it with 2 small deposits.
7 - Enter the 2 deposits back into Paypal to get my account limits lifted
8 - NOW I have a verified and "safe" Paypal account with no withdraw limits.
9 - Open a "Stealth" ebay account with same data and credit card as Paypal account.
10 - Link eBay account to Paypal account (Must to sell VERO)
11 - WAIT 30 DAYS OR MORE on account "A"
12 - Open a 2nd eBay account with the SAME user data and credit card as Paypal account.
13 - Link 2nd eBay account to Paypal (Must to sell VERO)
14 - WAIT 30 DAYS on account "B"
15 - Now you have eBay "A", eBay "B" & Paypal "1" accounts
16 - Sell on account eBay "A" while eBay "B" ages
17 - When eBay "B" ages 30+ days you can sell on it
Rinse and Repeat.......
As per User information:
EACH set of eBay"A". eBay"B" and Paypal "1" has their OWN computer user account to keep flash & cookies separate.
Yes both eBay accounts have the same exact user information, address, phone and credit card linked to them.
Yes this is the SAME EXACT information used on the Paypal account.
The only thing that is different from eBay"A" to eBay "B" is the email address.
This is so that you can accept payment from 2 eBay accounts into the same Paypal account.
NOTES:
This is very useful when you need to place a account in sleep mode to let VERO ALERTS pass
Pay all eBay fees with a valid Visa Gift Card.... Not through Paypal.
Deal with the 21 day hold on your payments unless you know the trick (No I will not tell you)
BE VERY AWARE that if any part of the tri-fecta goes south and gets suspended so will the other parts.
I have been doing this SAME EXACT thing for over a year..... It works |

What do you mean by "Open a 2nd Paypal account with the SAME user data and credit card as Paypal account" is it meaning the 2nd paypal account data must match the first paypal account?? isn't there just 1 paypal acc that you mentioned??
And you said selling VERO we have to link paypal to ebay, isn't it risky as they will know your paypal details, and if your ebay account A get suspended, you can't use the paypal account to another ebay account??
Thanks |

Sorry.. I was on a roll that evening.
Line 12 has been corrected.
It should have read as follows:
12 - Open a 2nd eBay account with the SAME user data and credit card as Paypal account. |
| skyichigo | 02-25-2009 12:16 AM | Dear,
friend
So by what you mean is the ebay account A will has the same data with ebay account B, is it okay?
I mean can't ebay link them together and that will be pain in ass when they suspended both of the account?
Thanks for the info |

DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING-DING
But you can sell 2X as much with only 1 Paypal account.
But BEWARE when 1 eBay account goes down so will the other one....
I even stated this in the original post: Quote:

| mmac900 | 03-20-2009 09:42 PM | Is it safe to add a second account? To the same paypal? I read about how to do it, but I am wondering if I can add a second ebay account after having and selling on the first one for 5 months, or a different period of time. Also, would it look bad if the account got 2 VERO hits, but it will be gone in 2 days? What about ones that have never had any problems, can I just add another ebay acc to the same paypal? |
| GreenBean | 03-21-2009 12:18 AM | You can do so. The second ebay account must be in exactly the same name as the first. It is preferable to create together, but they can be linked later.
What do you mean would it look bad if the account got 2 hits but it will be gone in 2 days? There can be an advantage of having two accounts as one can be left to cool.... |
Well, the other way to use only one PayPal account on multiple Ebay accounts could be by using Cartmanager since it acts as a buffer, and Ebay or PP do not get info on your setup with Cartmanager. The only problem arises for those selling things like Vero where linked Ebay/PayPal duo is a must.
I have an ancient PP with SS# in good standing, no limitations on it, hundred + times verified etc... so, it makes sense to link it via Cartmanger to other Stealth Ebay accounts when not selling Vero.
The only downside in my opinion is that it can get rather expensive since you need separate Cartmanager for each Ebay account.
But, it takes care of SS# issues with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ PayPal accounts and make sense in those situations.:juggle: |
| oompaloompa | 03-21-2009 12:15 PM | I swear that on the accounts that I have 2 ebay to 1 pp, the 2nd account gets many more vero takedowns, I am sure ebay flag the second one or one out of the two, as if to say you can sell on one but dont think we you can do it one both that would be too sweet a deal!!!... it may be coincedence, but if it carries on like this I wont double up any more even if it is more convenient, it seems single ones do better, for vero at least. |
Yea, when you have 2 accounts with same info, Ebay will know thats you...so they will try to limit you on both. Still, I think they are not too strict on it, so you may be able to sell more at the end..having two. I like to have mine all with different info..but than, I don't have that many accounts. It can get expensive.......:pout: |

Smart not to have used it, Mmac900! I got hit last night too, so I will let that account cool off for a while while working on another account selling non-vero. |

It was pretty bad because at the time this happened, I only had 2 other accounts ,and they both got suspended :( But now I am making like an account a day lol, never again! |
| gooner90 | 04-03-2009 08:48 AM | unlinked paypal to mmac900 or anyone else when you get warnings do these expire in time then or stay on your account? |
| oompaloompa | 04-03-2009 10:40 AM | expiry is 90 days, you can use account but without selling or selling carefully with no vero items |
I got mine 10 days ago, expiring late June...Jeeeez! They took down auction and I am 100% sure item is authentic. I wrote to Ebay and complained, I said I could provide more photos, proof where I got it from etc.. They said it was not Vero reported my listing, but would not say who did. Anyway, they would not let me re-list...and since it is only $170 item, I won't push it. I was planning to let this account cool of, but I am tempted now and wonder if it would be all right to list few other new things, and not wait all the time for Alert! expiration to go away?
My gut feeling says leave it alone, but I am so bound at building positive feedback selling authentic designer stuff on this account....I got to only 40, 100% and had this account since August 2007. It is driving me nuts!:ballchain: |
But, I'll be getting Webmaster Blueprints from Aspkin next week...Make my own website and sell, sell, sell..as many I want, and use with pleasure my old Paypal among other things.... my first one, the long time original PP account, linked to suspended Ebay account. Sweet revenge, eh! And, no more listing and final value fees..Yey!:cheer: |
| oompaloompa | 04-06-2009 10:31 AM | Good luck on your site.
yes, Ive sold straight after a take-down, just nothing contravertial, I know exactly what you mean by genuine items taken down by who know who, happens to me all the time, so need many accounts, the worst for me is was an account suspended for sunglasses..before I joined the forum and had no idea relisting a takedown meant suspension, I relisted them twice, as I knew they were real, but I didnt have a receipt, as I bought them years before at the airport.. there was no reasoning with them at all, it made me hate them actually for all the trouble they put me through for nothing, whilst scammers are out there regardless. |
Thanks Oompaloompa!:) It was a stupid scarf, so I am letting this sit in my closet for a while.. They could see I sold $1500-$2500 genuine authentic items with pictures and all in my feedback as I don't keep it private, I have nothing to hide. But for them to tell me someone else reported not Vero, but than wouldn't tell me who did, its ridiculous! I insisted they give me Vero contact info, they said they don't have it. Yea, right!
I have these 2 other things to list $400-$500 range, so I hope they leave me alone and don't shut account down. We'll see.. I got to get over that 100 feedback 100% bump! Yea...sunglasses, scarfs...just about the same..LOL! |

Both Ebay and paypal does not encourage you to have more than one account. I found from my experiences that paypal is very strict when it comes to fraudulent activities.. I will not take risk with Paypal | The thing is I would support it if it was just fraudulant activities, Ebay/paypal should be less tough on the majority of sellers who have the goods and ship them out, with possibly the odd hiccup, I mean what business doesnt, but is willing to solve the problem in a reasonable way. Instead you are treated like a criminal. Just one account can be fine if you sell non branded items, and do not have any other problems eg a bad run of feedback or some other issue, it is always best to have a couple of back up accounts, selling slowly or just aging, even if you have one very strong account, many forum members have found there is no reasoning with ebay when it comes to especially vero goods. |

So there is nothing showing any sort of warning that is active. Do I still have to wait 90 days?
Right now I'm just selling borderline stuff on other accounts |
| DAILYHUNDRED | 07-25-2010 11:34 PM | I have gotten listings removed due to vero complaints a few times in 2 separate accounts. Sometimes I got just the message in my mailbox saying they got removed due to vero and I would list a week later again and sell for months without problem. Other times I will have to take the tutorial. And I the last time they put me on probation for 60 days I think, If i sold the same item again I would get suspended and It showed a warning on my account and the date it will be lifted.
If it doesn't show any warning that are active in your ebay account I would wait a week and change your listing up and re list again with different title info picture etc. I think the people that report you keep an eye out for a couple days to see if you relist right away as they can't keep an eye out for the hundreds of sellers selling. I think you get a few warning before you get the 60 - 90 day probation. |

Yes both eBay accounts have the same exact user information, address, phone and credit card linked to them.
Do you mean we need 3 different user accounts or just two? I am thinking two so that each ebay account has its own comp account. And we can log into the paypal account on both ebay computer accounts.
Please correct me if i'm wrong. |
| oompaloompa | 08-12-2010 12:48 PM | arshavin - no each set eg the 2 eb and the 1 paypal are all under ONE user, they are all linked up so need to be altogether sharing cookies. |
| arshavin | 08-12-2010 12:58 PM | So i want them all under the same comp user account? And its fine for all the cookies to be linked?
I have made my multiple ebay accounts using 2 different comp accounts. I can easily just started using both accounts under the same comp username with no worries ya think? |
| oompaloompa | 08-12-2010 03:33 PM | correct, transfer them all over to one user and delete other user screen |
| shan7-8-6 | 08-15-2010 11:07 AM | Hi,
I have an ebay account that is linked to a verified paypal account, but i paid my ebay fees by using my paypal account, and in the guide its says i should not pay, does that mean if i did open another ebay account linked to the same paypal account that they would be closed? Hope to hear from someone soon :)
Thanks |
| SaiJin | 08-15-2010 11:50 AM | What is your purpose ?
And do you mean having 2 eBay acc with similar info linked to the same PP?
Yes, that can be done and it should be fine. Just that if one goes down, the rest will to. |
