URGENT: Possible Disaster for Stealth Accts
 

I just went through the tax interview and after entering LLC info and I got to the end I saw a box I never saw before. It required my electronic signature and it requires you to put a name even though I am using my LLC info

I went back to the beginning and it did allow me to uncheck the box that said "Authorize electronic signature"

This allowed me to complete the Tax Interview. However, I don't know if that means they will mail me something to sign before they validate my tax info

VERY WORRIED!

If you do not provide your consent, at the end of the interview you may be required to print the form, sign it with a blue or black pen, and mail it to the address that is provided. "

The interview will let you know if you are required to sign and mail the tax identity document to Amazon. For those sellers who are required to print and mail this document, until we receive it, your account may be temporarily suspended from selling. "

Now here I don't know if it is saying you do have to mail form with signature to Amazon (Does not supply an address) or if it's saying you are submitting it to Amazon via the web.

The first line said "to the address that is provided. "

There was no address provided I don't think, I already completed the interview.

Please give input if you when you go through the Tax interview process

I also believe at the end the form said sign and date, I do not believe it asked for the name of the person who is signing. Someone please verify

An officer of the LLC could be completing the tax interview.........

usually a get EIN 2 days before I register new Merchant account, so in one or 2 weeks I get notice, that I have to input new information, I input the same EIN and it worked fine. Today I registered a new account and after I inputed EIN and submited it, I got immideately notice "taxpayer identification information submitted for your seller account does not match IRS records." Like I said usually it was after one or 2 weeks. and yes they asked for the name and email, I didn't really get what email they wanted from me, so I inputed the same email I used to create this amazon account

so is there something else should match, do they match this name to something, for some reason they can check IRS records instantly now, amazon account that I created 3 weeks ago got this message "The taxpayer identification information submitted for your seller account does not match IRS records." so I inputed the same info again like I did before and I got instantly no match. I hope this happened because my new tax id, didn't get into the IRS list that Amazon use to match( before it was always the reason for that message). But now I worry, any ideas

It takes awhile to get into IRS system. The only thing IRS checks is company name and EIN number, address can be mismatched.

I get my EIN form IRS the day Amazon asks for tax info, Within a few days they will say it does not match, but your account is still live for 30 days. I always wait till the last couple days to reenter and then it validates just fine.

yes it was always the case, it just they added to the end of that interview the name signature, where you have to print your name, do they use it for something
