How Am I Getting Away With This???
 

I've been using one MacBook for all of my ebay accounts (10+) for the past year and a half. Same IP Address just a different user account for each ebay account. I've had 5 of my ebay accounts shut down while the other ones were still going strong. How is this possible? I've been discussing it with other members on here who are very knowledgeable with Ebay and this site and suspensions. They are telling me its luck. I'd like to hear some feedback so if I can doing something wrong, I can correct it before something happens.

Same IP for all 10+?!? Likely all are linked...not much you can do right now but begin other stealth creation.

Sooner or later (no 100% certainty on timeline), all COULD go down.

How is that possible? Only pp/eB know for sure.

We would all like to know why accounts get taken down, but unfortunately, we're not privy to that information.

What we do know are proper stealth tactics to avoid getting multiple accounts shut down in a domino effect.

Having the same 10 IPs for your accounts creates a strong link between them over time.

Change your strategy on using IPs across multiple accounts to avoid a repeat of this problem.

Unfortunately there's no real way to correct this at this point, just keep riding it till the ship goes down. But be smart and have backup accounts ready, using correct stealth methods.

Solution: go with the flow. Make new unlinked accounts and watch your back.

It really is just down to the fact that you have been lucky. You can bet that eventually they will go down as they have already all been linked with suspended accounts. Just a matter of time.

thing is ip is not the main factor, they know ip can be shared in businesses, recycled or shared in households or hotspots. cookies is more important.

was it static ip or dynamic? because you may just have dodged the same ip if you were dynamic...

other reason is purely, that they allowed you to keep some accounts, this is known to happen.

for eb it could be automated, when just cookies or ip used the same day on 2 accs and you can dodge the sword or there is a manual or forensic review where they look at every link.

Paypal is one where they can look at transactions and see how they all link up, even if you have no other links like ip.

I made an account in 2011 with real info, that was doomed/linked from the start so to speak.

2 years later and 700.000$+ in payments received, and it finally went down.

You are just on borrowed time.

I am still selling like crazy on a linked account. All the others got suspended but the last one is running strong. I am expected it to go down before Christmas.

** Not official, just theory** My gut theory is that if the account has a strong history & many daily transactions, T&S cannot just shut you down with one click, they probably need a manual review since it may impact eBay profit.
Manual reviews take time, probably only a handful of T&S employees can do it and that is why you feel you can get away with being linked for a while. Eventually it catches up with you. ****

I have been on the phone with T&S telling me that they could see my other linked accounts and hinting strongly that I don't complain too much about the one that had just gotten suspended.

When you sell * a lot * (I had millions $$ limits on each linked account), you get a little more flexibility but eventually you die like everyone else.

For 2 years and that info...you did well but it does suck to hear that it went down ugh. That is quite the high amount to go into PP, regardless of real vs. stealth
